Earlier this week, Kanye West announced on ABC’s The View that he will co-headline a world tour with none other than Lady Gaga.
Although no dates have been solidified as of yet, West said the two will hit the road later on this year.
“She’s talented and she’s so incredible that she’s not an opening act,” West saids. “We’re doing our show together, with no opening act.”
Interesting. It’s good to see that , considering that Kanye is four albums in and Lady Gaga released her first and only album, The Fame just last year. Considering how massive the Glow In the Dark tour will be, and how avant-guard Lady Gaga is, this tour is sure to be a smash.
LLOYD PARTS WAYS WITH THE INC.
After a three-album run with The Inc., R&B crooner Lloyd is ready for a change.
The 23-year-old Atlanta native has already begun working on his fourth studio LP, and is looking to part ways with Irv Gotti and The Inc. family, claiming their relationship has “run its course.”
“I’m ready for a change,” says Lloyd.
“There’s no bad blood. I just feel I need to take more control over my career and get a fresh start. Hopefully Irv can understand my position.”
In addition to finding his way out of his deal with The Inc., Lloyd recently exclusively released a his mixtape, Lessons In Love 2.0 to us. He has plans to hit the studio with Jim Jonsin, The Runners, Cool & Dre, Rodney Jerkins and others for the new project.
This is interesting news, considering that Gotti just released Ashanti from the label last month. Guess they will have to sign a completely new roster.

I’d love to see this tour, Gaga is the best w/that bubble outfit and her soulful adlibs and Ye speaks for himself however Late Registration is my fave Kanye album and I doubt he’ll do my favorite songs from that album so I probably won’t go…I think this is a match made in tour heaven though!

Damn, I’m actually starting to feel sorry for Irv. I’ve watched his ‘Gotti’s Way’ show & it seems that he actually does care for his artists, or at least those that are loyal. Not the biggest fan of Lady Gaga, but that is bound to be a great show. I might try and catch that if they’re in the North-East at all.
Lloyd would be a lot more popular if they promoted him better. It’s like they promote the first single or two off the album and then stop, expecting the album to sell on its own. smh. I think the move will be good for him.

Lloyd finally seeing the light. He was too loyal to Gotti and he really should have left when po-po tried to reach for Gotti and his brother. However, I heard that Gotti was not going to let Lloyd out of his contract. Lloyd owes the Inc three more records and Gotti said he was going to get them. That’s cold. Gotti need to let him go while Lloyd is still young enough to get his career together. Lloyd needs a new look. They always have him looking like an old man with them braids in his head and those tired outfits. He should have stuck with Jazzy Pha and his crew and let Irv go down the toilet.
