Based on the video, this song is called “Work” because it is adapted from the movie “A ClockWORK Orange”, which is about the perpetuation of chaos through satanism. The treatment for the video is almost identical to Usher’s “My Way” video which was also based on that movie. This is why the clip has Ciara swinging from that cable the same way Usher did in the “My Way” video. Instead of the mascara over Usher’s right eye to denote the eye of Osiris, there are scenes in this video in which Ciara stands in the eye of a giant tire. In addition to that, there are many instances where they pan directly into the sun in an homage to Osiris as well. I also notice that Missy played the same role in this video that Jermaine Dupri played in the “My Way” video, which is why they both seem to be “directing the chaos” (in the role of Satan himself) from the bird’s eye view. They have Ciara wearing more of those bugged out sunglasses to show how she is being sent forth to blind the people by promoting whoredom and chaos, particularly amongst the young black women, the same way they had Beyonce wearing those blinders in the “Diva” video before she sacrificed herself. People don’t seem to understand that there is no “swagger-jacking” going on, smh. These female R&B artists are forced to dress and dance this way in ritualistic fashion to ascend the levels of superstardom, which are the levels of masonry and witchcraft. They are ROBOTS. This is why, after awhile, they all have that same blank soul-less expression on their face.
