Umm…. I could’ve sworn that she released this video ages ago.

She’s bringing nothing new, nothing refreshing, nothing unique. The world will not be lost if weren’t blessed with her singing…so my verdict is she can sit her azz down somewhere…..I know it’s fair to give each individual a chance, but honestly, just cause you can sing don’t make you a singer…you gotta have something unique, a unique sound, or come with a unique something, this chick is giving me nothing, probably other than the the fact that she’s been able to work her way up to some big names in the industry and they trying to help her out….will that make me go out and buy her music, HELL NO…she can surround herself and be friends with the biggest names, i could careless!

I HONESTLY don’t feel like watching this so..um..I’m going to have to past. I played if for 5 seconds and kept dragging the “thing” across the screen and I concluded that the song sounds OKAY, the video looks OKAY and she is PRETTY. That = UNORIGINAL!

The beat is ok. The lyrics I like most. My brother used to get his lunch money taken for a while when he was in grade school. I had to holla at thise kids for him. Conversation and a talk with that kids brother worked. Bother finally learned how to take care of himself. Big Sis!

The song was nice and catchy but I’m soo SICK of how this girl’s career is based on being a bootlegged cheap imitation of Rihanna. She looks like Rihanna’s uglier sister, sounds exactly like her but lacks Rihanna’s swagger and charisma, thus making her extremely boring. I just wish artists had the guts to tell their labels NO, i.e “no i’m not going to sing bootlegged rihanna songs just because she’s on a break.”

However Shontelle is doing okay in the UK (well in london) one of her songs got qute a bit of airplay when i was last in london, but i haven’t heard them play her stuff anywhere else. The fact that her career is based on filling the temporary void of Rihanna just means that when Ri comes back, Shontelle’s 10 minutes of fame will be up.

People keep on Sleeping in Shontelle, her last album was okay but she needs to go hard with her next album her label needs to get the top song writers and and beat makers , she will be successful I’m sure of it.

At first I was highly upset with the so called “tribute” BET gave our musical legend Michael Jackson during the award show but then I actually thought about how much time was actually given to create such an honor to him which in reality wasn’t much. Michael died three days before the show which meant (and showed) they had to scramble and come up with concepts and artists to pay their respects. I feel as though BET should have done a short but meaningful tribute to him at the very beginning of the show with the regular scheduled program following after. That would have made a lot more sense without all of the random Michael Jackson tributes thrown in here & there. To me it just looked a mess and made it seem like BET didnt care enough for him to take the time out to create something truly amazing. We all understand Michael’s death was unexpected so BET shouldn’t have felt the need to rush anything. Do a tribute at the beginning and then announce that you’ll be planning something huge for Michael in the coming weeks to honor him. I am just disappointed with Debra & Stephen and felt that they went about this the wrong way.

Even without the tributes to Michael the show would still be garbage. I only enjoyed Beyonce’s performance (even though her choice of song seemed really random, I couldnt deny how beautiful & angelic her voice was), Ne-Yo’s tribute to MIchael, Keyshia Cole & Monica (Keyshia was okay but Monica of course killed it), the tribute to the O’Jays, The O’Jay’s, and Maxwell. Everyone else either did okay or just a flat out terrible job and it shows that this generation lacks true talent. Weezy’s performance was unacceptable and a disgrace. If you don’t know why I state that, check out the video and figure it out for yourself. Nuff said.

this is a pretty good song with a positive message., and she’s a pretty girl. Nice melody/lyrics. No matter how anyone may feel, they’re gonna put the m$ behind her because she’s successful already. Pop/Rhythmic, & Top-40 will eat this song alive. It’s crazy how they’re starting to go across the water to get new stars, athletes, etc. Things in the U.S. have gotten so sub-par due to ppl not really working on their craft and being an individual, and having their own identity.
