i think he died from some type of internal injury from gettin his head banged up on that flight. You all remember when that actress dies? natasha on the skiing accident? she fell and hit her head and continued on with her activites and later that day said she had headaches then next thing you know she was dead..I bet you it has soemthign to do with a head injury.

United has already released a statement trying to distance themselves from it saying he wasnt wearing a seatbelt as if that has something to do with stuff falling on his head because their faulty tire blew out.

I know one thing. I already hate to fly and he slightly let them have it on his twitter. When people make comments like that it makes me think twice before flying on their airlines in the future. And the fact that instead of offering their condolecnes the airline is trying to already shift blame off of them. SAD. i wont be flying on them anymore.

i just read #18’s comment and i have to retract my initial comment. that is soooo true! but i guess since you don’t necessarily get a news story for all the commoners that pass, you can’t put a face to it and you tend to forget that death is a natural, everyday occurrence. RIP and god bless ALL.

i cant believe he died! im still in shock, its just so unexpected! i wish he would have went to the hospital after the flight! i know for a fact that a head injury had to of played a part in his death. Had he gotten looked at he could very well be alive right now! poor guy. What is going on? This man was considered a icon in the commercial world! I’m just floored at the death count amount notables in the last week or so…I mean, what’s really going on?

RIP Billy Mays….sorry, but he seems to have been another one whose life was cut short….this is just getting down right scary…

One benefit of all these deaths recently is that it brings attention back to your own mortality, and how the small shyt we should be shaking off, and how brief our time really is here, and how we should be trying to achieve our goals, and focus on loving the important ones in our flives. It’s amazing how death can make you view life differently…i’ve had alot of ponder in the last few days.

Head injuries are very dangerous. 12-15k ppl die every year. Your brain stem is located at the base of your skull. It helps the brain to tell folks when to breathe, heartbeat etc. A blood clot can stop it’s function. It is so important to get those checked out immediately, even if ppl call you paranoid. Good to be paranoid sometimes. Condolences to his family.

Oh man, this is just terrible. His head injury is very similar to how actress Natasha Richardson died a couple of months ago. She had a blow to the head while skiing, but she said she felt fine after it happened. These are examples that even if you feel ok after a head blow or any other injury STILL make sure you go to the doctor so that you will know everything is alright.

and note to everyone- if you have a head injury no matter how small it is, get yourself checked. you might be completely fine but at least you didn’t take any chances. i remember when i was younger and i hid my head on concrete. it took me a couple of hours b4 i started to feel pain and i went to the hospital. they said everything was ok but i’m happy i went anyway. we need to be more cautious about these sorts of things

The funny thing is is that I heard this like 2 wks ago, for real, and was like no he isn’t dead. Then, as we all know, he is dead now. I can’t remember who said something to me, but I swear he/she must’ve seen something coming. Sad.

He must have gotten a concussion from things falling on his head when the plane landed.Did he not go to the hospital?
