Billy Mays, best known for being the popular pitchman of Oxiclean and other various household products, was found dead by his wife at his home in Florida on Sunday morning.
Mays, 50, was aboard US Airways Flight 1241 flying from Philadelphia, which landed roughly when the front tire blew out as it touched down.
Billy posted about it last on his Twitter Saturday night, saying:
“Just had a close call landing in Tampa. The tires blew out upon landing. Stuck in the plane on the runway. You can always count on US Air.”
After the actual flight, Billy told FOX 13 in Tampa that something struck him in the head:
“All of a sudden as we hit you know it was just the hardest hit, all the things from the ceiling started dropping. It hit me on the head, but I got a hard head.”

i think he died from some type of internal injury from gettin his head banged up on that flight. You all remember when that actress dies? natasha on the skiing accident? she fell and hit her head and continued on with her activites and later that day said she had headaches then next thing you know she was dead..I bet you it has soemthign to do with a head injury.
United has already released a statement trying to distance themselves from it saying he wasnt wearing a seatbelt as if that has something to do with stuff falling on his head because their faulty tire blew out.
I know one thing. I already hate to fly and he slightly let them have it on his twitter. When people make comments like that it makes me think twice before flying on their airlines in the future. And the fact that instead of offering their condolecnes the airline is trying to already shift blame off of them. SAD. i wont be flying on them anymore.

One benefit of all these deaths recently is that it brings attention back to your own mortality, and how the small shyt we should be shaking off, and how brief our time really is here, and how we should be trying to achieve our goals, and focus on loving the important ones in our flives. Head injuries are very dangerous. 12-15k ppl die every year. Your brain stem is located at the base of your skull. It helps the brain to tell folks when to breathe, heartbeat etc. A blood clot can stop it’s function. It is so important to get those checked out immediately, even if ppl call you paranoid. Good to be paranoid sometimes. Condolences to his family.

Oh man, this is just terrible. His head injury is very similar to how actress Natasha Richardson died a couple of months ago. She had a blow to the head while skiing, but she said she felt fine after it happened. These are examples that even if you feel ok after a head blow or any other injury STILL make sure you go to the doctor so that you will know everything is alright.
