In Touch Weekly is confirming the rumors that Usher and his wife, Tameka Foster have split up, but they also report that they are divorcing as well.
The Grammy winner has been living apart from his wife for nearly a year after almost two years of marriage. Usher’s primary concern is for his children. He is a great father and just wants to do what is right for them.
The insider says that it’s more than just talk — the divorce papers were filed in Atlanta this morning.
The couple has faced problems in the past. In November 2008, In Touch reported that Usher was flirting with girls at a party in Miami, and even asked a model what she was doing afterward. [SOURCE]
Usher and Tameka have two kids together, Usher Raymond V, 18 months, and Naviyd, 6 months.

Listen I agree this is a hoax. Usher has lost money because of less than adequate album sales (his last album). Confessions was his biggest seller because we all knew he was cheating and sigle. Okaqy now the same effect. He is going to be single and he is going to confess. The general population hates her. He basically dumped his mother. So Ush has to make another comeback with his lost fan base via his mother who is his manger… His mother probaly said, “I’ll comeback only you get rid of your wife..I told you she would ruin your career!”… Remember he was cusssing Tom Joyner about his wife? This is probably true, when they first got married they were seen everywhere together. When was the last time you saw them in a photograph together? I say work it out because the grass isn’t always greener unless they’ve tried already and it’s just not working.

I completely disagree. If anything, she’s doing something right. She got both her children’s fathers to marry her. She made sure she wasn’t some guys “baby mama”.
In all fairness to Usher about the rumours of hitting on a model in November ’08, they were already separated since July of last year! She is contesting the divorce & her “official” statement says she was a faithful wife and mother. Her statement sounds like SHE cheated. Usher’s “official” statement is that the marriage is irretrievocably broken and there is no reasonable hope of reconciliation. If they were only together a year & separated when she was 4 months pregnant with the 2nd child, I wonder if the 2nd baby is his?!?!? I haven’t heard a word about the 2nd child except that he was born. It makes me think maybe he was fliritng, but that she either did or made it appear she cheated to make him jealous and it backfired big time! He didn’t even know she was in Brazil for liposuction until he was called and told she had a heart attack on the table before surgery started. Notice she flew home alone (major indicator they were apart, if any man’s wife had a heart attack he wouldn’t let her come home alone & Usher could have chartered a private plane for her even if he couldn’t be there but she flew regular first class and alone, saw the pic of her in the airport.
Everyone knew Usher was just trying to be rebellious against his mom and wanted to grow out of her shadown & Tameka gave him some older woman love, made him feel like a man & talked him into firing his mother to get her out of the way of influencing him. When his cd did crap & his fragrance didn’t do well, he hired his mother back. Tameka even tried to mess up video shoots with the girls so no girl would be hanging on him. After he started losing money she shut up and sat down so he could continue to make the money she wanted, but I guess he finally saw his mother was right about her. Now 2 quick kids later, I know he’s sorry he ever got with her (and she left her husband for him and he cheated on Chilli with her (stupid). Chilli said she found out when she saw the pic of them on the beach.
For everyone wondering what was on his mind, Tameka simply (as she said out of her own mouth, watched them come and go) she did the opposite and Usher (fool) believed she knew him so well. Now he’ll have 18 years of child support and no telling how many years of alimony. I know he’s hoping she gets married again so he won’t have to pay the alimony anymore. Tameka wanted the Hollywood life so badly, now she just looks like a gold digger and he looks like a fool.
Sorry Usher but everyone did tell you so. Now go on and be yourself and when you’re really ready get married. Tameka will NEVER get anyone like Usher to look at her.
