Am i the only one that’s cool with him getting community service. It was his first offense, people make mistakes. I mean, if he got jail time, he should have just gotten like 2 weeks or somethin, but this 1440 hours (if he actually does have to pull the weeds, I highly doubt that) will give him plenty of time to think about what he has done. With the way the court system has worked as of late, it seems like a reasonable deal. Probation is no joke. He can’t do too much else. But extensive jailtime would have been a little ridiculous, this is generally what happens with youngsters who mess up for the first time. He’s been pretty clean cut, granted he’s probably beaten her before, he should definitely learn from this.

Actually it was his first offense and 5 years probation is pretty harsh. I got 3 years for agg assault wit a pistol and my P.O. stay tryna catch me slippin so they can locc me up. I don’t know how I feel about this situation, probabation for 5 years sounds tedious, and I think can be compared to jail time in a sense, because, you do have to be very careful, not to violate the terms of the probation.

So @125, I agree with what you wrote, I am sure that R provoked Chris, and I don’t get why she would want to revoke the stay away order, just so she can try to get close to him again and aggravate him to hit her once more. When a situation gets that bad between two people, I truly think it is time for both parties to move on. She’s definitely on some ‘fatal attraction type issh, to still want to be able to get close to Chris.

She needs to pull herself together and realize that she needs her space to grow up and she also needs to learn that her relationship w/Chris was too volatile to begin with and she had just as much to do with that as he did as well. Accept now he’s being punished for it, and she is not. I’ve just lost all taste and respect for Rhianna. She did not handle this situation with any class at all. Im gettin tired of everybody saying money bends the law, or they hate the fact that he didnt get any time…obviously Rhianna had to agree wit the plea bargain for him to even get it.. thats how it works in th CRJS system…they tried to put a restraining order on him from her and she said it was needed, u know y because she provocted him….she had some part in this incident and she isnt the innocent one only…Chris I will always love and support u as a person and a n artist

Chris is not a bad person and this happen for a reason!

The reason why he did not get jail time was because of Rihanna, she knew her part in this! That’s why no jail time (she agreed to this, but I hear not the separation part) and 5 years probation will be easy if he stays on his same course. You never heard anything bad about him in a really bad way before this.

I will say this, her day is coming, she got off again. Rihanna’s downfall is coming and when it does it will be hard and guess what? she want be able to move on and continue her career like Chris will be able to and I believe he will. She should’ve gotten something also. What this did was let stupid girls further think it’s ok to hit someone and not get hit back. It’s all wrong, but I beleive things happen for a reason and time will tell. But Rihanna should’ve gotten something also!!!

The D.A. offered the plea, cause the half of her police report was a big lie…..there was no case…..what his lawyer should have done was denied the plea, and let homegirl lie in a court of law and the case would have been dismissed…..perjury in the state of california is what? 3 years…..(i studied law, but not in the state of California - they have some f’d up laws out there : case in point that community property ish)
Chris should have hired Willie Gary as his attorney. - that’s all I’m saying
Oh, and did ya’ll really think that Clive Davis was going to allow CB to go to jail? Or Rihanna for that matter? Please.
I told ya’ll before, this is what was going to happen.
