There are thousands, maybe millions of Black men in prison right now who were forced to plead guilty and guess what…..they were represented by attorneys henceforthe the Central Park 9 - criminal case in NY where 9 black males were convicted of raping Patricia Nealy, or the Scottsboro 9 (back in the 1950’s I believe) where a white women cried rape and 9 Black males were convicted of rape.

So before you start praising that Justice was served……just remember that the Criminal Justice system rarely works for Blacks & that applies to both instances where the victim and/or defendant are Black!

Rihanna had to agree with any plea deal that was given to Christ Brown. She was never going to testify because it was going to get revealed that the story was tained and she initated the violence. Abuse is not gender specific. Woman abuse as well as men. I don’t believe in the lie that a man should allow himself to be abused by a woman expecally if he’s trying to remove himself from the situation and she is still coming. A real man will never hit a woman and a real woman would never hit a man. There should always be mutual respect if you don’t like what he/she is doing then leave.

I think the sentence fit the crime, but I also think that there are 2 sides to every story. The defense attorney, judge, and district atorney are in cahoots with each other and it is at the discretion of the defendant to take his lawyers advice or let the game play itself out before the “jury”. Mind you, this is after his defense attorney has worked out the case already with the district attorney and the defense goes back and attempts to influence the client one way or another.
