@7 You obviously don’t understand that the list Forbes compiled is based on media power, like exposure based on TV, in ads and online not entirely earnings. If it were based on earnings alone Alicia would most likely be on the list because I remember being reported somewhere she was worth $50 mil in ‘05, and I know she’s worth more than that now with that Vitamin Water endorsement. Also if it were based just on earnings, a billioniare like Oprah would be #1 automatically. There’s no way Angelina on anyone else would be ahead of a billionaire. And why would Rihanna be on the list? She’s only been in the game 4 years. You have to give her time. Most people that made it on that list has been a celebrity over a decade or more. A media empire takes a long time to build, it does not happen overnight (well unless you’re Disney kid lol)

Well i think t he shoes looked better on rihanna only because the designers of the shoe meant for them to be sorta edgy and have a “rockstar” appeal to them…. at least thas what i see when i look at em. I think rihanna couldve pulled tha look off if she had gon with different pants cuz im not feelin the sweats. Lala was way more safe with the look but that was her downfall. Her ensemble brought way too much attention to the shoes while in rihannas outfit, her shoes were just accenting her whole appearance.

You keep implying Alicia doesn’t have as much as the people on the list, well I challenge you to google how much Alicia is worth and you will see it being 8 figures like other people on the list. Alicia isn’t on the list because she’s not as media exposed, well at least not this past year which is Forbes went by. The list was based on how much the celebs have been exposed to the media AND their earnings. Keyword is AND. They factor everything from endorsement deals, movies, and so on from this past year as well as the money they earned. Alicia is pretty much a low key celeb and is only driven in the media when she has something to promote other than that, she’s laid back. You are correct Rihanna is in the media a lot, but most of that exposure is free like on blogs and magazines. That’s not making her any money only publicity. She doesn’t write or produce her material which is where the money is for her as a singer, so it’s gonna take her some years to get where those people are if she doesn’t start doing things in the studio herself . You mentioned her endorsements but 2 endorsements deals can’t compete with with the salaries of people like Oprah and Puffy come now. Just because a person is wildly popular doesn’t mean their automatically filthy rich, I don’t think you’re understanding that in Rihanna’s case.
