D. Woods, formerly of Danity Kane fame is still in the studio working on new material for her Independence Day mixtape series, as well as her solo debut album. While still focusing on music, Woods has also been working on a couple TV and film projects.
D. Woods, who celebrates her birthday in Miami this weekend, is gearing up to release the second part of her mixtape sometime this summer. Expect to hear new music from her very soon!

The first 15 seconds were horrible enough and then she hit that note (if that’s what you want to call it) and it was over. Let me just put it this way, I didn’t make it to 20 seconds.

Not sure about the song and the high autotune at the begining but I have to admit D Woods and Dawn were always head and shoulders above the other girls dance (maybe shannon too) writing and over all talent wise. I hope to see these two women (Dawn Richard & D Woods) carve out great careers for themselves cause it would be a hell of a waste of talent if we don’t see them again.
PS Dawn, be smart use Diddy for what you can, don’t get played but play the player and keep it moving (preferably away from BadBoy) LOL unless God grants you a miracle and Diddy starts doing right by his artist.
She has a great voice and we all know she can dance but I’m too sure about this song being a hit…

WTF is this mess? She sounds so stupid! Her voice is too high and squeeky! She’s trying something new but it aint working out! D Woods needs to sit down. I’m tired of these singers trying to make it but a lot of them need to face reality and know when they’re dreams won’t come true. I know it’s nice to have a dream of becoming a famous singer, but when it doesn’t work out for so long, you gotta find something else realistic like a real job!
