I just had to say this. Someone said Kelis is laughing at all these girls. No she is not. She is busy trying to get money from NAS because she wasted all her money trying to set trends as ya’ll say. I really never seen Kelis on any magazine in the US that is mainstream so I don’t know what trends she was setting. Sorry! I bought her cd and it is good but I am not sure what trends she was setting then. However, if ya’ll were so hot for her why did she get dropped from her label? To be honest, none of these artists are original anyway. They have fashion designers/stylists who copy certain trends and incorporate them into their clothes. The reason why stars tend to go for the same look is because they want to be more comtemporary or modern e.g the popularity of skinny leg jeans or big glasses. Rihanna isnt exactly original is she? She has stylists and designers at hand and foot just like everybody else. So the provocative phrase ‘Just tryna copy Rihanna’ is inexcusable and utterly pointless.
