Timbs aren’t classic to me, they went out of style around 1999. No guy should be wearing Timbs right now unless he’s doing yard work or wearing them for some other functional purpose, step your game up and grow up. Kanye can get away with it because that’s Yeezy and we know he can dress. And truth be told it’s not the best look on him either. Just my two cents.
Love Timbs they are very classic when you wear them correctly. Feeling #’s 1, 3, 5. Neutrals are the best for the upcoming season. Look out for neutral blazers, jackets, jeans and more. The black man always looks good in these tones.

How can Timberlands go out of style? Some people are clueless. Stay out the hood and you will see different types of Timbs like #5. Those are reminiscent of the classic Frye Boot, which I know Angel likes because I read her twitter page.

I adore Kanye he’s SEXY no doubt, BUT those timbs mixed in with ….those braclets?! NO. For him to be a “fashion designer”, he SURE haven’t been dressing as it lately. Timberland is a shoe and apparel company, they make more than the construction boot, which is what I’m referring to, and not because I need to “stay out of the hood” or whatever that means. They make loafers, deck shoes, etc – of course those types of shoes are not what I’m talking about, but I think we’re past the twinkies that Naughty by Nature and every 90′s rapper used to rock faithfully.

I agree with the posts saying Timb boots are out of style. I live in Canada and the only people who still wear Timbs are the guys who still wear XXL tees (down to their knees) and baggyy pants (don’t know why people still dress like that). I honestly don’t think it looks that bad on Kanye but I still think Timbs have been out of style for the longest time.
Timbs are definitely hot some places and not others due to weather constraints. But overall, I agree that they are a classic boot. Some people need to stop letting trends define them and do them. Kanye looks great in all 3 outfits – showing you that Timbs are IN FACT still in style.

Timbs will never go out of style here in NYC, they are Classic. The Beef and Broccoli field boot in the Winter is one of my fav. Just like Up’s, Classic in NYC.

@ 27 – I guess you can say that Timberlands are a classic boot that every man should have in their closet. But NOT because of their “style” but because of their functionality. One person mentioned they live in Michigan so they use it because of the weather. My ex moved to Ann Arbor and bought Timberlands for that precise reason. Current boyfriend owns a pair and only wears them for when he has heavy duty work to do around the house.
Now Kanye looks good and I like the style all put together FOR THE DAY. But he is Kanye and if you saw him in a club or lounge anywhere, I don’t care what he is wearing, no one would probably notice the shoes he is wearing because of his celebrity status. But think about it, where are YOU going that you are wearing Timberlands out at night?! Not going anywhere nice if they let you in wearing TIMBERLANDS.
All that said, again, Kanye did put it together well so I won’t knock it just because I don’t really like Timberland boots on guys (unless they are working).
