Lol, knew it – second time getting a “Guess Who” right!
I hope I look that good in my 40′s.

  18. lol

I feel like Halle Berry wants to disassociate herself from black culture.

White husband, white baby (that tiny tot will not be adhering to the one drop rule), white mother, white Hollywood films.

Why is she one Concrteteloop again? She sees herself as a white woman and being bi-racial she has the right to do so.

Why do we glorify a woman who chooses only to identify with her white roots?

  19. R.I.P. Michael Jackson!!!!

Baby #2 already??? Didn’t she just have a baby?

  20. uptowngirl

Is that a wedding band? Did her and Gabriel pull a Janet Jackson and get married on the sly?

  21. lol

Oh yeah, I almost forgot to mention,

    HALLE BEEEEERRRRYYYY!! HALLE BERRY!!

    Ok, Proceed.

  23. Smile Halle!

All that mean muggin ages you

  24. Diann

hahah WTF LOL white mother? u cant hold that against her.. and she had her share of black men thats why she hasnt married this white one.. and no that baby u cant tell has black in her. she hasnt disassociated her self with anything shes dippin into both ponds

  25. PUHHHLEEZE!!!!!!!!

I don’t mean 2 rain on everybody’s “HALLE BERRY PARADE,”
but I was listening 2 the radio the other day, & they announced that
Mrs. Halle Berry will be starring in an upcoming movie, or play, about
nappy hair, called “NAPPILY EVER AFTER.”……….uhhh………..what?
All I could do was shake my head………un un un.

Halle? Of all the black actresses they could’ve chosen, they chose little miss
biracial HALLE BERRY?……….Hun? What the *bleep* does she know about being a black woman, with nappy hair???

    LORD PLEASE TAKE THE WHEEL!!!

    “Hollyweird strikes, yet again!!!

There’s a chance I may have heard them wrong………..maybe they said she was directing or producing it. I hope so, because if I heard them correctly, then that’s
*bleeped* up, because they could’ve found an actual black woman, such as
    Sanaa, Gabriel, Taraji, or Brandy.

  26. BeutifullyBroken

    @ # 19

How do you know that Halle Berry sees herself as a white woman? Has she told you that personally? Didn’t think so. So please, save it. Also please get your facts straight. He’s not her husband, they’re just together. And regardless of race, she obviously loves him, and I dont blame her because physically, he’s got it going on. Yes her mother is white, but she can’t choose to have a black or white mom. Her daughter is mixed, due to the fact that her mother is mixed, and her father is white. The one drop rule adheres to everyone that has that drop in them. And as far as white movies… thats BS. She tries to place herself in better roles, what you want her to do, be in movies like BAPS all her life?
    Please hush….

On another note… Get it Halle!!! A successful, beautiful BLACK woman.

  27. sistah4real

I SEE SAD WRITTEN ALLOVER HER FACE. MAYBE SHE NEEDS A HUG I KNEW BY THE HANDS AND THE DRESS SHE IS ALWAYS SUPER COMFY.

  28. lol

    @ 27

Don’t tell me to “hush.” I have the right to state my opinion without a rude retort. I respect what others have to say, and you should do the same.

And I also don’t think Halle sees herself as a “black” woman. If you walked up to her and said “Hey, Halle my beautifal black Sistah!”

She would look at you like you’re a mad woman, let you know that she is indeed “bi-racial,” and have her security escort you out of her ten feet comfort zone.

  29. lol

But I do agree with you, she is indeed “A successful, beautiful BLACK woman,” whether she acknowledges it or not.

And it’s not that I expect her to appear in films like Baps, it’s just that she doesn’t seem to address black people or deal with Black Hollywood actresses/producers, etc.

Queen Latifah is pretty Hollywood, but I still feel like she “addresses” the black woman.

  30. toniibby (iluvchrisbrown]

    wow she looks different….

  31. leslie

somebody please tell me make and model of glassess she has on :000 plzzzzz

  32. Laina.

Umm, white roles? So you want her to star in movies that only get played on BET? Get real. Any REAL actress would pursue REAL roles in REAL movies. You call them “white” because they aren’t full of BS, racial stereotypes and ignorance.

The problem with SOME black people is that they don’t believe anyone should date outside their race. It’s nonsense. She loves who she loves, who are you to judge?… And I’m not even going to get started on her having a white mother, because something tells me that you weren’t thinking when you typed that.

  33. Phillyfashionista

    Heyyyy Halle gurl!!!!

  34. lol

    @33

Actually, I was thinking pretty clearly unlike SOME of you conditioned apes who believe anything the media tells you.

The fact that she has a black mother is clearly not her choice, but it does bring light to the fact that she does have the choice to choose between identifying with being black or white. I believe she chooses to identify as white. And no I don’t expect her to appear in movies riddled with bufoonery. But I also do expect her to support movies of substance directed by black producers, featuring more than one token black actress (that being her typically).

  35. BeutifullyBroken

    @ Lol

I got a lil worked up and I apologize for being rude.
But I want you to read these quotes from Ms. Berry herself.

“Blackness is a state of mind and I identify with the black community. Mainly, because I realized, early on, when I walk into a room, people see a black woman, they don’t see a white women. So out of that reason alone, I identify more with the black community.”

“I don’t see a white woman. I see a black woman, even though my mother is white [her father Jerome is black]. Knowing that has made my life easier, I think.”

  36. OMG everything!

I like Halle, but people need to stop saying she doesn’t age…because she is aging, (gracefully) and there’s nothing wrong w/ that. She’s still very beautiful and talented!

  37. lol

    @36

Thank You for those insightful words from Berry!!!! Leads me to believe that perhaps my feelings are misguided. I appreciate the knowledge which you’ve bestowed. I know that we as a people have alot to offer spiritually and intellectually. Thank you for letting down your walls and letting wisdom pour through.

  38. Renae

Love Halle, but maybe she should consider adopting. She’s too old to still be having kids, its unfair to the kid.

  39. killalipstick

    guessed right

  40. absolutely

    shes aiiirrght

FELLAZ: get yall AZZ over to HipHOpMOdz.com

SEXY CHICKS, CELEBRITY & SEX TAPES

  41. Renae

At 19: And Halle has said in interviews she considers herself Black.

People make me sick when they act like you have to choose. She is from both her mother and father, which is black and white. A father who abandoned her and a mother who rasied her the best she could.

  42. JYOUS1

She doesnt consider herself black? For reals? She is biracial fool! SMDH! And I think that she represents us ‘sistahs’ well. From her movie choices, to her charity work, to her Oscar win where she was very humble, to just being a great role model. I love me some Ms Berry!!

  43. dopest_chick

    Halle Berry!!!!!!

I know this because i’ve seen these earlier this morning :)

  44. Laina.

    @ LOL

Okay, you’re getting out of line. A little bit childish with the name-calling. Don’t you think? And CLEARLY, you’ve failed to think before you typed again.. because her mother isn’t black, she’s white.

    Get it together.

  45. Ladyssolady

@26, yes, she’s going to be in ‘Nappily Ever After’. What is so wrong about her being in that role?! I’ve heard her say many times that she is a black women. Black women have hair in all textures, so it doesn’t matter. You don’t have to be ‘nappy’ to understand hair issues or what went on in that book, which I’ve read. I want her to get married before she has another child by him! Its like marriage is non-existent these days.

  46. Meat

    @ LOL and BeutifullyBroken,

That’s what I’m talkin about! When two people reason together, God will be in the midst. Y’all handled ya business like Barack and Gates. All you need is to pop open a couple of beers. lol! I see people calling each other b*tches and Os when all that jargen ain’t really necessary. I had never seen the quote from Halle. I only remember how happy she was to hang out in “sisterhood” with Taraji P. Henson. Trust me, Halle knows what side her bread gets buttered on.

Its like last night on “Dating in The Dark”! When the Itialian boy finally got to see the sister, he passed on her because he said he couldn’t accept her spirituality. When they were in the dark, the spirituality didn’t seem to matter, but that brown skin was the deal breaker.

So, my hats off to you sisters for falling out and then coming back together like real women do. Its like Chris Brown said in his song Forever…”I won’t let You Fall”. He may beat the $#!T out of you, but don’t worry about getting dirt on your clothes. lol!

  47. itdoesn'tmatter

I love Halle’ but who cares about her getting into a car? She is just not somoene that I want or care to read about….Atleast not now.. Chick had a baby.. Great…NEXT!!!

  48. JUDAH

This is interesting. Now, according to some black women, Carmelo Anthony should give his baby’s mother a ring, but Halle Berry should stay single….and Halle Berry does not show any “self-hate” in shacking up with and having a child by a white man, out of wedlock. Allegedly legal wedlock is so important…..

  49. itdoesn'tmatter

and one more thing.. I am sick of looking @ her bunions

  50. Laina.

    @ Ladyssolady

I would like to see her get married also. But remember she was saying that she would never get married again? After Eric Benet? Kind of sad..

As for marriage today, I think a lot of people aren’t going that route because they don’t feel like “a piece of paper should define their relationship”. Which I agree with to a certain extent. I don’t think the piece of paper should CHANGE the relationship. But marriage itself is beautiful.. with the right person!

  51. coco1281

Who the heck is saying Halle Berry ain’t black? Are ya’ll serious? And say what you wan’t but Halle look like she gets relaxer just like the rest of us..heck my momma hair is a straighter grade than hers so why the heck couldn’t she stare, produce, etc of something call “nappy hair”? HATERS!!!

  52. Anonyme

That guess wasn’t hard at all. She does age. Yall acting like she’s in her 20s. She ain’t 60 so she’s looks age appropriate to me. But Who cares if she getting in a car?
Please fix the pinky toe Halle ha!

  53. MiSSSEXY

Halle berry saw it in another site…he toes are throwing gang signs…..

  54. sandy

She should gt martried before she thinks about having another child..society give the wrong impression of good spiritual morals….

  55. Meat

@55 Well put, Sandy! Society gives the wrong impression and so does some book aurthors, may they rest in peace. Its kinda like the animal world. Like dogs and cats breeding bastards throughout the family. I have them in mine and I’m sure most people do.

I see where Nas has been ordered to pay Kellis between $44k and $55k per month for their baby. And, the Jacksons are fighting over three test-tube babies. Madonna raising little African babies. And, Sarah Palin gave up her Governorship because of Levi and the spinners.

So, come on Halle…! Don’t use Eric as an excuse for dropping babies on the fly! You’ve been blessed, now show some restrain.

  56. LULU

I’d prefer to see her working on a new movie/project or something instead.

  57. R U SERIOUS??? NEW DC SOCIALITE BUT MADE MY OWN MONEY

Nice but that baby news is old.

  58. shannap

wow u guys a silly as hell. am just LMAO. at some of these comments
