To tell the truth, on their reality show, (dang I forgot the name of it), I started to like Bobby. No not like that, but he seems to have a great personality. Whitney on the other hand came off as a snob and too clingy/needy. Example: The scene when they were eating outside and the fans came along. And the other episode when Bobby went camping & wanted to spend time with his relatives and children and then Whitney came in and changed the whole scenario.
Just as Bobby is at fault for the problems in their relationship so is Whitney. I just think he has taken a bad rap for the demise of their relationship and Whitneys drug use. Whitney took those drugs willingly, she knew how he got down & she knew he got around.

I can’t blame Bobby for Whitney’s outcome! She went after him hard back in the day. And, don’t forget, Bobby was the baddest dude on the charts in 1988 with his one big CD: “Don’t Be Cruel, Roni, My Prerogative, Rock Wit’cha, Every Little Step, I’ll Be Good To You… Face it, he put out a classic CD and he rewarded himself with the hottest diva in the business. Bobby’s still collecting royalties from Don’t Be Cruel.
Also, as we are learning from the Michael Jackson tragedy, most celebrities have little nasty secrets that offen times include substance abuse. They have to either sedate themselves or go crazy from all the telent and demands of stardom. Whitney knew what she was getting herself into just like Beyonce knew Jay Z. Bobby is actually a good person. If he could shake the drugs, he’d do well in life. For all their craziness on that reality show, 100% of it was love. I know people couldn’t stand seeing Whitney stripped of her chimera but we were probably all delusional anyway. Hers was a manufactured image…we were likey crying over something we never had. But their family was gorgeous and beautiful and silly and fun and we should have taken that away from the show. In that way, they were a phenomenal example.

He even told the producers of the Tyra Banks show that he blamed Whitney for him getting a bad reputation by the media. He also wrote a book blaming her for his drug abuse. Please!! It had been known for years that Bobby came from a family of drug dealers and abusers way before he met Whitney. Let’s not get started on the fact he had 3 kids by 2 different women and he was just 23 yrs old.
