Just as her debut on the second season of Bravo’s hit TV series, The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Kandi is no fool. She drops some new material featuring fellow Atlanta native, rapper Rasheeda and hip hop heavyweight, Rick Ross.
Kandi, formerly of Xscape, is a Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter, and while in addition to being one of the Atlanta Housewives, is also working on her sophomore solo album, a follow-up to 2000′s Hey Kandi. Expect to her Kandi’s new single, “Trade Him In,” featuring Gucci Mane soon.

Kandi is a very accomplished song writer, although her songs are usually about unfortunate circumstances of urban life….I really think her daughter is adorable but it hurt my heart when her little girl said she didn’t want Kandi to marry that fiance…. Life can be hard on single moms even with money..

Kandi is DUN! The first cd in 2000 was whack (I have it); this song is mediocre at best; she’s 9 years too late; old; and should just continue gettin her bread from behind the scenes.
I also lost a lot of respect for her being as though Xscape didn’t begin a downward spiral until after she started sleeping with Jermaine Dupril (this is factual). She also could not handle JD’s decision to keep LaTocha Scott as the LEADER even AFTER she was givin it up. I’m not hating, but this is real talk!
