NOT my cup of tea. Although it did remind me of Sara Bareilles, and I do like some her songs.

  2. TWEETBABES

He’s trying to be another Chris Brown?? J/K
The song kind of sounds like a Maroon 5 vibe, but I like it….I bet it’s about Jordin Sparks

  3. umm

this song kinda reminds me of Andre 3000

  4. skysound

nice voice but he can do better, this song is weak,
yeah it reminds me of sara bareilles

  5. jorgee

i like this alot , i think him and
Jordin Sparks should do a song , that would be nice.

  6. MiSSSEXY

like the song ….it’s different…like his voice it doesn’t sound like anyone else’s..

  7. wilkes

i have a bad feeling that his old ass took jordin’s virginity. therefore, i hate him. the song isn’t very good, either.

  8. breed me baby

    go head steph

    im diggin this a lot

  9. vee

he just sucks to me. the song is missing something. his voice is boring and typical. but this is better than his other songs that were featured on this site.

  10. MS ROCHELLe

Hmm, not feeling this one. The tempo needs to be faster and it sounds like a Maroon 5 song reject. I see Steph is trying to appeal to a broader fan base with this pop influenced song. I’m not mad, keep trying.

  11. blackxxx

This song sucks my di… and this $white$ boy is wack, damn i am just so sick of anti black-$white$ pop shit!

  12. NIKERA CLOTHING LLC.

I like it! love the laid back mellow vibe of his music. I wanna ride down Venice Beach with my top down! :-)

  13. annie :o)

Quality and catchy (and I agree with the Sara Bareilles and Maroon 5 comments). I’m wondering what the rest of the EP is going to sound like…

  16. Dave

DAMN I LOVE IT!! his voice is so soothing, and amazing

  17. johnosahon

I likes, it sounds like the 60′s “the beatles” .

  18. NIKERA CLOTHING LLC.

Its crazy how there are so many haters on here…..yes everyone has their opinion. If you think you can do better….THEN DO IT! too many BENCHWARMERS and not enough PLAYERS if you ask me… He is doing positive things in this world and his community by making music that inspires young Americans Black and White. Try giving someone props for not being a drug dealer, dead beat dad, murderer, child abuser, cheater, womanizer, racist, backstabber, etc. *i can go on but some of us have businesses to run and people to lead* GOD BLESS!

  19. Realist

OMG!!! I loooove this sooooong. Its so refreshing to hear good music for a change. All this other wackness is really starting to get on my nerves. Thankyou Steph for being true to your music. Now for those people saying that he’s trying to do something different yall are a littlle slow because he’s been making music like this. Just checkout “get me started” on youtube. And to TWEETBABES he isn’t trying to be another chris brown. Steph has always written his own material and is clearly a different kind of artist than Chris who has the help of every hot writer to make a song. Go get em Steph: )

  20. stevona

It has a Maroon 5 vibe to it. It seems it may be hard to find a place on the radio mainly R&b and hip hop but I can see being played on a pop radio stations . If that his core audience. DeRay little brother has a nice voice.

  21. NikkiWeb

I love it, and I love him. I love the fact that he dont sound like everybody else. Its unique, and fresh. now-a-days everybody is sounding the same, so its re-freshing to hear something new by someone talented. I love the song, the lyrics, and the vibe of this track. Steph 4sure got next.

  22. mysoul.fr

Why r u all hatin’ on this ? The song is def cool, cute, very nice hook, simple but catchy melody. I like it a lot and I don’t feel it’s that poppy ???? Nothing close to some Sara Bareilles or Maroon 5, it’s sounds like Steph Jones, period. J’aime, j’adore ! C’est très joli :-)

  23. NikkiWeb

some of yall peeps need to open yall ears, this is true artistry. which is whats lacking in the music industry!

  24. @agentsmithfiles

Wow! This track is RIDICULOUS!! I’ve always been a fan of Steph Jones – the brother has great music!! Can’t wait for the album to drop!!

  25. jenieycancellieri

Oh GAWD……….Hell NO………what the hell type of shit is this?

  26. ~WIFEYTYPE~

@ first i was like NICE!!! THEN THE CHOURS Kicked in and i was like OKAY its not lookin 2 pretty…its an alright song jus not my cup of tea

  27. seattle slim

It’s a winner! Way to go Steph!

  28. MzLaLaRochelle

Steph Jones’ music is gives a ‘feel good’ and soulful vibe. I keep every song on repeat from ‘Mr. Ordinary’ to ‘LaLa Means Love’ to ‘Summer Love’ and now ‘All Kinda Sprung’! Through his twitter (@stephjonesmusic) he continuously uplifts his followers and maintains his down to Earth appeal with joke after joke. He is certainly the NEXT BIG THING! I’M A FOREVER FRAND OF HIS!

  29. TMARINO55

i LOVE this song! it’s so different from what crap is being put out right now, & it’s really catchy! i need his feel good music in my life! lol plus, steph is such a real, genuine, good guy.

    :D ! love it

  30. Shae

NO BODY IS CHECKING FOR THIS GUY. With voices like Trey Songs, Usher, Brian McKnight, Eric Benet, Maxwell, Tyrese where does this punk fit in. HE DOESN’T. STEPH JONES HAS NO VOCAL ABILITY.

Why does concreteloop keep shoving him down our throats. He needs to do what he does best, NOTHING. but USE young girls for publicity.

    CORNY HOMO

  31. LEAH

    @ AGREE WITH SHAE.

  32. tia

I love steph jones…he keeps me entertained on twitter lol…haven’t heard the song but i hope its good…i like his music

  33. NikkiWeb

Ok, so Jenieycancelleri ( its called music )

Shae….u right, he does not fir in with those artist u just name….he is different and unique, and we dont need another artist to come out and sound and do the same ish!

Big up to Concreteloop for broadcasting and recognizing Real Artists, who doing there thang!

  34. jenieycancellieri

and the point of singling me out ………..whatever…….i don’t like the song and i’m entitled to my own f’n opinion.
oh and to as far as “music” goes, i listen to EVERYTHING and i still don’t like this ish!
forgive me for NOT mistaking his music ability with the way he looks as some ppl do….forget it that the song suck, he’s cute hehehe……whatever (on the same note don’t get me wrong, Steph has a nice voice, he’s a good writer – here and there, but i’m not buying it)
    And yes that’s my F’n opinion…………….NEXT

  35. jenieycancellieri

oh……..and i listened to this song 4 times straight……..he is saying the same ol’ ish, separate the music and the lyrics and u got “girl i wanna……i wanna”
    Same ish….different tune

  36. Realist

To blackxxx. What exactly does “white” sound like? Thanks for showing us how ignorant you are. And to 31) shayall the artists you named fall under the “just rnb” category so of course steph doesn’t fit there because he’s more than just rnbso you get 2 negatives. Negative for your research and negative for your observation. Maxwell and old school brian mcknight I love. Steph will definitely make his mark and trust people will feel his music because its honest. All the rest of the cookie cutter artists are on their way out. Thanks again CL for posting this and giving peopl something different for a change

  37. I love Steph! this song sounds like an apple commercial.

  38. HEATHCLIFF

Ooookaay, I’m listening to this song, and looking at his LP title and one of these things is not like the other.

There is nothing even remotely related to “funk” that can be derrived from this song, so I don’t know why he would choose this as his introduction to the world, unless he is intentionally going for a very bland top 40 appeal song.

Somebody compared him to Chris Brown? no, I think this is more Jesse Mcartney, then Chris Brown. Even for what it is, the song is a very mediocre attempt at a cross over appeal, I don’t know if it is supposed to be an homage to like a beatles song, but it isn’t successful at it becuase very amturish, and uninspired, and Gnarles Barkley did it better, you have to come harder bruh.

  39. jenieycancellieri

    Heathcliff………..I’m offended at the comparison………smh

  40. Holla

Too much AUTOTUNE! Get those notes right! lol

  41. Cory

    a big fuckin shit.

  42. HEATHCLIFF

    39

    Please, Jesse Mcartney aint nobody,

  43. Cellcat

Just get it put on a cellphone commercial so you can get the royalties. That’s where it fits.

  44. JUDAH

That’s a kabbalah pose that the man is doing.

  45. tray

This song is dope. Just because its different peeps might say its wack. Haters eat a dick that bust out acid in the wise words of Trey Songz!

  46. I like it! Sounds good to me, not the typical. It’s gonna be hard for some of ya’ll to adjust to something different..especially when all you hear on the radio is the same autotune crap rap or r&b! Can’t even tell them apart anymore! Steph has wat’s called his “own mind” and “personality”! I like it! Stop hating people! Ya’ll make a song and lets see if anyone will give 2 country wet dumps about it on the LOOP!

  47. Marck Angel

I ask myself why I keep reading the comments on blogsites. It seems that people have so much hate in their hearts nowadays; everyone’s a critic, but everyone’s so fuc%ed up inside. Steph, from one artist to another, keep doing your thing man. You’re making music from your heart and you’re actually living your dreams instead of commenting on blogs trying to destroy everyone others. Keep bringing the light. I love the song… keep it up man.

    Live & Love.

  48. lau .

7 – please . i’ve seen steph jones videos and he ain’t the type of guy to just hit it and run .

    i like it .
but i dunno if it will reallhy make it that far.
autotune – im not the biggest fan of that .

  49. leahrose

Steph does Steph, he’s good peoples. Down to earth, talented and not to mention a looker. NO IM NOT FROM HIS CAMP.

  50. Alex

this song is hot alright, a HOT ASS MESS. I love his girl Jordin though :)

  51. tonie

AT #30 SHAE ….. MUSIC IS NOT ABOUT FITTING IN BCUZ IF U FIT IN THEN URE THE SAME & THAT’S BORING INVIUDUALITY IS WHAT MAKES MUSIC SO BEAUTIFUL

SOME PPL WANT TO COMPLAIN ABOUT HOW MUSIC IS ALL THE SAME BUT WON’T GIVE SOMETHING DIFFRENT A CHANCE ??

  52. Jai

he needs to stick to modeling

  53. Kellz

The only reason I voted “not” is because this song showcases his vocal inabilities/flaws. Sorry Steph but that sounded like a mediocre demo and that’s not cool if you wanna release that as a single.

  54. Ms Riley

To be honest, it’s not my cup of tea..It’s a bit high school musical for me

Sorry If i’m being to harsh

  55. Krys

I love, love, love Steph Jones, and I think this is a good song. However, I still think that, even though he has an amazing natural talent, it wouldn’t hurt for him to enlist the services of a good voice coach to hit some of those notes…

    But much love Steph…keep doing what you’re doing… :-)
