Rapper/singer/actor Drake spoke with MTV’s Sway during a short break at a gig in Pennsylvania and defended his infamous “Best I Ever Had’ video.

Yeah, the video wasn’t comedic, he needs just own up to the fact that it wasn’t the best video for his for major solo single release. Maybe he’ll rebound with the second, but the video was def. a Kanye video…Drake needs to establish his own identity if he wants to be around for the long haul, and to me honestly he’s not really living up to the hype IMO

Maybe y’all talking about his mixtape, which I haven’t heard, but from what I’ve heard his lyrics are those rapper’s lyrics that are a bunch of silly metaphores and similies that make no damn sense. I hate hearing him rap! He’s sounds all ghetto and uneducated when he raps, but when he talks he sounds like he has some sense. He should stick to singing. I understand the concept of the video, however it wasn’t the best. The video was a metaphorical comparison to basketball.
Alot of people in the dating world always talk about having a ‘starting line up’ or ‘starting five’ in reference to the people they are dating as in relation to basketball. Or like having a franchise player, star player..
