In all fairness,the ladies you listed also have some work to do. Beyonce’s music has stunted. She’s in her twenties now. She needs to grow. She’s a great singer, but IMO has no soul. Mariah forgot how to sing and her stage performance pretty much always stunk up the place. Christina hasn’t really done anything worth mentioning of late. Leona has zero personality and stage presence. Frankly, all these ladies OVERSING to make-up for the LACK OF SUBSTANCE/DEPTH. MUSIC SUCKS! With MJs passing it is even more evident.

I think the video should have been a “miss independent” female who is working hard, maybe a student at a college, and just doing her thing. ONE GIRL. I think the academia thing would have worked out good. A female student at a poppin university and drake is trying to pursue her. Ok it should be like this - Drake has a class with this girl and they should of shown him staring at her meanwhile he’s rapping. Then his home boys are on the side clowning him. Then after class he go and talk to her. During the middle of the video it should be like these other campus girls trying to talk to him but all he could think about is this girl in the class because shes “the best he ever had”..Then at the part when he say “know you got a roomate…” It should be him going to her dorm trying to sneak in. That would have been sooooooooooo cute.

I was disappointed in the video. It didn’t make any sense and the way the girls boobs are out and all that slow motion running somebody’s gonna complain to mtv or Bet and they won’t show it in the daytime.
