She sounds really good.

Personally, her voice annoys me. Her vibratto is warbly to me, and the tone of her voice, I just can’t get into it. BUT I think this is a decent pop song. It should work well for her in that genre. I wish her the best. She seems like a sweet girl.

You know what…I agree with #2. She is a white girl. It’s nothing wrong with her catering to that market…she IS half white. The comment does have truth to it. Yeah it’s a good crossover hit. It sounds like a song that would be in a commercial or playing on The Hills or something. But this shit does not appeal to the urban market. No urban station are going to play this song. There is nothing wrong with her singing it tho. I believe this is who she truly is ( a white girl at heart) and at least she is not trying to be someone she is not. I just wish people would shut the hell up about this race thing! Stop it with that “we are all human beings” because every single person is different. We come from different places and backgrounds and should be proud that we can identify with our own people. Jordin is half black and white and does identify more with her white side, which is not wrong. You can’t exactly act a race, but many different races, cultural groups, and ethnicities have certain things about them that make them who they are, there’s nothing wrong with that! Like me, I am black and don’t act ghetto but I do love being “urban” and intelligent and being confident and soulful, which comes from my damn ancestors. AMERICA has every ethnicity all f*cked up that people don’t wanna be different anymore, everybody wants to be the same and not relate to their own group at times. She’s not a “white girl”…she’s tres tres POP. I can’t see her singing soul, she has a very pop voice, a great BIG voice and she never sounds bad.
