As we reported earlier, Mary J. Blige has revealed the title of her new album, Stronger. Well, check out the title track above featuring singer Chris Brown on vocals. He reportedly co-wrote the song as well. “Stronger” was co-produced by Hit Boy for Surf Club and Polow Da Don.
Mary’s 9th studio album will hits stores on November 24th via Geffen Records and will feature productions from Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins, Tricky Stewart & The Dream, as we all as long-time friend and contributor, Bryan-Michael Cox.
The song is also featured in the upcoming Lebron James Basketball documentary, More Than Game (in select theaters on October 2nd).

Lyrically the song is brilliant, but when I listen to this version all I hear is Mary hollering. Dont get me wrong, Mary is talented, but I liked it much better when Esther Dean sung her part. Big ups to Mr. Brown though. Maybe this version will grow on me.

This song is amazing! Very powerful with some deep meaning behind it, obviously since CB wrote it with Ester Dean not too long after he and Rih-Rih reunited.

Very nice song with inspirational lyrics. Chris Brown is a pretty good songwriter. This is like the 3rd good song I’ve heard he has co-written. I do wish that Mary would return to Hip hop soul she’s known for and work with other producers besides Darkchild. He ‘s a good producer, but I haven’t like much of his songs lately. I will still check for Mary’s album as I always do though.

ester dean is a song writer, if you can remember back to when chris was seen coming out of the tattoo shop with natalie he said he was with dean, thats who he was talking about. They have work together before.
I looove this song!! I am so glad Mary is going to release it! Her version was always my favorite and this will be a good look for CB! Chris is a really talented songwriter, people just don’t realize it! He has a lot more grown up songs out that people haven’t heard yet, but they will be surprised to know he wrote. I think the song will do really well for her!

I luv this song too! Mary and CB did a good job! I heard this was the song that Chris and Rih Rih were supposed to record together, but got canceled after the fight!
