I like this song with Mary vocals better and I am biased due to the fact that I grew up listening to Mary and I just love the rawness of her vocals. They did tweek some shit, but it was probably for the best. Mary ain’t gon’ let them alter her voice without her permission. I heard Keri’s version and she did a good job as well, but there is something about her that I just don’t like. I will figure it out one day. LOL!

Whoever wrote the damn song doesn’t really matter, because ain’t nann’ one of us getting any royalties from it regardless of who we say wrote the mofo.

…and as far as Rihanna goes, she deserved that Grammy! She may not be the best singer in the world, but she know what lane she is supposed to drive in and she does it very well. The Dream did an amazing job with the song and gave it to the right person. I can just imagine what Mary said after hearing it. That song was too young for her. Mary is a grown ass married woman who has been through some serious shit. That song would have been a step back and we would’ve been talking about her ass. I co-sign with No. 68 A LOT of underserving people have been nominated and have won Grammy’s! It stop being about talent a long time ago. I mean, Soulja Boy was nominated for a Grammy! Need I say more! Its just a popularity contest now. It hasn’t been about rewarding talent for years. I ain’t hatin so don’t even start with me, but lets be real, if Rihanna wasn’t as pretty and didn’t have people dressing her and writing her songs for her would she even be here?
