Check out this new Robin Thicke track that leaked over the weekend, entitled “Dirty It Up” (Prod. Scott Storch). The singer is currently working on his 4th studio album and by the sounds of this track, he is taking the similar route that he took on ’08′s “Something Else”.
In related news, Thicke wrote and produced a track for the movie Precious, a film based on a novel by Sapphire , in which his wife Paula Patton also stars

No actually I would be surprised if an “African American” came out with a song like this, since nearly 90% of our r&b “singers” use pitch correct and auto tune on everything they do. (There are many exceptions the Maxwells, etc.)

I don’t think it’s that all of these artists who use autotune pitch correction can not sing, it’s just that for some reason, the public will not buy the music unless black artists do that kind of music. We can’t release straight up r&b albums because they aren’t as successful for some reason. Your right about the fact that most of the pitch correction is not needed. When you hear artist like Babyface, who sang perfectly throughout the 80′s and 90′s, but now for what ever reason feel they need to pitch correct their vocals. Something is seriously wrong with R&B music.
And to be clear I’m not really mad at the “autotune” thing ala T-Pain, it more the pitch correction, were they are snapping the pitch of most R&B, vocals to 100%,

Well if you go to his website, they put out that this is NOT a new track, but actually an old demo that was not going to be released. And this will NOT be on the new CD. Actually, I think Scott leaked this himself. I mean really when was the last time he did anything worth mentioning. Anywho.. sorry, get it while you can because he will not be releasing it as a single or part of the new project.
