It’s been a minute, but this week’s Show Stopper is Alicia Keys at the 2009 BET Awards. While most of the ladies did it up very flashy, or fleshly, Alicia kept it soft, simple and stunning wearing this green sequined Jenny Packham dress.
Alicia glowed on the red carpet and on stage when she received BET’s 2009 Humanitarian Award winner for her work in the charity she co-founded, Keep A Child Alive. Keys’ appearance on the BET Awards Show Sunday night also reportedly raised more than $130,000 from more than 26,000 mobile donors who texted their donations. Now that’s a real show stopper…

Alicia lost a lot with people when she made that move to Swizz because Mashonda’s been very vocal about it. Say what you want, but she had hopes of them working it out and getting back together whereas it’s no dice now.
Alicia is the new Lauryn Hill - walking contradictions.
I know Kerry’s dying laughing though because her music definitely dropped when they broke up.
And where is that story? Had it been ……….. it would’ve been hands down across America with the haters making up their own and posting it on every blog as a fact.
