Alek is flawless; dark chocolate skin, tall, lean , radiant smile, piercing eyes and legs which extend from New York City to Bombay. Her British accent is also very sexy. I feel sorry for black folks like #14 (LMAO) who can’t appreciate her beauty. She is in her natural state, just like God wanted her to be.

I’m sorry, but I just don’t understand why people are calling hr ugly. She may not be drop dead gorgeous, but she is very pretty with nice long legs and flawless skin.
It’s so funny that there’s people commenting about how much they know about fashion, but are trying to call her ugly as hell. If you truly knew about fashion, then those words wouldn’t be in the same sentence. High fashion models don’t always look like the pick of the litter, but they have a look that is striking and can turn heads, and a look that can make them stand out in the crowd. That is why Alek Wek is a high fashion model, because she may not look the best, but she is no where near plain or average, no matter if she is black, white, latino, or asian, she’s is high fashion to me…

Actually if Aleck was light she would probably automatically be considered beautiful by most black people, especially those who comment on CL. Amber Rose isn’t that pretty but because she’s bald and has pale skin black people n partcular act like she’s stunning, when in reality she looks like a reguarly blonde girl with a bald head. People can’t see the beauty in Aleck because of self-hatred, and because the media/society feed this idea that anything that looks close to white is beautiful.

First, let me inform you dumb African-Americans of some things, being that I am Sudanese and know first hand. First, you cannot compare Alek Wek, Iman, Liya Kebede, etc. to African American models like Tyra banks, Jessica white, etc. Alek is 100% African, she has not been diluted what-so-ever. Like someone above mentioned, yes, this is what most of you ignorant African-Americans’ ancestors looked like. Second, she is NOT pretty, and this is speaking from a completely unbiased stand point. It is a known fact that Southern Sudanese women are not attractive. What they are is tall and lean; they have amazing bodies that are ageless, graceful and perfect for the runway/high-fashion modeling. THIS is why she is so successful. In all honesty, Ethiopians and Somalians are far more beautiful, but then again, they are more often than not MIXED.
