Check out a preview of The Michael Jackson Story, a special documentary compiled by TV One as part of Michael Jackson week, which airs Sunday, July 26, at 8 p.m.
The documentary opens with clips from the King of Pop’s music videos and follows with testimonies from friends and family, including new interviews with his mother, Katherine Jackson, and friend, Gladys Knight, that will talk about Michael’s life in an “incredible, revealing” way.

I think the more we find out about him in death, the more we will realize just how painful his life really was for him and his family. I hope his kids dont have to put up with with half of what he had to deal with.
Im so in agreeance with most of the comments, Im over these specials and such, but maybe this one Ill look at since his mother and REAL friends will talk about him.

sorry to break your heart children but this has been on already. for those who have cable tv it was shown on the E! entertainment channel a couple of times now. i know tv one tryna come up but come on don’t take credit for something that’s been shown on another channel. get it together, but besides this i wanna see what else they have for “michael jackson week”

Plus the clips of Glady’s Knight and LaToya isn’t new he took that from other interviews. And Im pretty sure Michael’s mom isn’t doing interviews right now. Love Michael but Im not gonna watch it.

The media is sooooo negative…one minute there bashing him, the next there praising his undisputed talents…then there tryna figure out he was indeed a drug addict..like common, he’s a human being and i think ppl need to respect his death and allow his legacy to be honored.,..cuz when Evis’s ass died you never heard this much BS!

I love MJ…I can’t see the video, but I really hope ya’ll are not talking about the documentary that E! Has played 1000 times, E! Actually got their interviews from the biography channel. I love MJ but we all know the story, if aint nothin new then I don’t think I wanna watch it.
Don’t expect the MJ coverage to end anytime soon, might as well get use to it. MJ is guaranteed high ratings on t.v. so they are going to milk it for what it’s worth. I will also be watching this special.
Gladys Knight spoke very cryptically at 1:20-1:30, as if she did not want to reveal too much….

Can’t wait to see it finally! I can’t stand the stuff lately all it is white people. I’m not on that black this black that cry me a river tip but every time they ask an opinion or whatever the experts are always white like we don’t know anything about ourselves.
For example on the Today show they had a white expert telling the world how the kids are feeling about MJ and there grandmother and how being with her can benefit them I mean their aren’t any black physiologists or therapist to ask about us give me a break. It’s another form of control and I don’t like it one bit
