The memorial service was so moving, emotional and touching, could’nt hold back the tears. Rev. Al Sharpton and Congress woman ( can’t think of her name), but they really gave Michael his accolades and totally refused to allow negativity to tarnish and diminish the astronomical accomplishments and contributions of this man’s life and his influence on the world, not just musically or the impact he had on civil rights and race relations, but his humanitarian efforts as well. Everyone who participated, was simply beautiful. Michael you are truly loved and will never be forgotten.
Michael, thought I would’ve had a chance to meet you one day but now that will never happen. I just want to say you are the greatest entertainer alive. I love your music and it will live in my heart. Love and Miss you Mike.
Now I wouldn’t b me if I didnt say, people at BET take note this is a real tribute and yes I know its a memorial for the greatest entainer in the world and the sigficance is different but this is how you say “THANK YOU”.

The memorial was heartfelt, and wonderful. I was in tears the whole time. We lost one of the greatest giving, and loving entertainer in the world!

The Memorial Service was nice and not over the top. The fans were very respectful. JHud did good but I was hoping she sung the last song on her CD, “There’s a place in heaven prepared for me,” thats not the name of it but thats the chorus, her voice is made for true gospel music. Lionel Richie actually brought tears to my eyes, gospel songs always do. Usher did a wonderful job and it was not disrespectful of him to touch the casket (to whomever said that earlier).

I miss you Michael and I love you. You have done great things for the pop culture and entertainment industry. You were somebody’s son, father, brother,uncle and love. At times you seemed to far away and so untouchable but yet you were so down to earth. I can’t imagine the type of life you lived, I can only imagine. I do know that when your time is up that you will leave this earth when God wants you to. He knew you were tired and had reached your peak. There was nothing else for you to accomplish. When I think of Michael Jackson what comes to mind is what a beautiful walker he was. In other words, despite all of the trials, tribulations, scandals, lies, and negativity people tried to put on him, HE NEVER GAVE UP. Like Al Sharpton said, “He DEALT with it”! Yes, he walked most beautifully while on this earth. RIP Michael Jackson…and I will always love you.

What a touching memorial service! I still have a froggy in my throat. MJ will be greatly missed. I definitely will be downloading the Jackson 5 albums on my ipod, his young voice was simply angelic.
This was really an emotional day watching this. My heart just hurts. I miss MJ so much already. It’s still so hard to believe he is gone. I can’t imagine what the family is feeling.

I wish that I had the opportunity to meet you Michael. You were a wonderful musician and humanitarian, and you will be missed dearly. You will forever be known as the King.
That wasn’t a memorial service–that was truly a homegoing celebration like we do in the black church. The music, the expressions, the images and the ministry of love. Even though I’ve always loved MJ, I don’t think I really appreciated him while he was alive. I’m sure many felt like that, but that doesn’t mean we couldn’t unite in grieving for him yesterday and wishing we could have him back. The funeral yesterday was a moving tribute to a man who’s heart was too big for this world and it served as a reminder to all of us to show love and appreciation to the people in your life while you still have time.
micheal i will miss you may god bless you and keep you i feel like a part of me is gone .may god bless your family .you have taught this world so much just know your race was not in vain
