WOW I’m wondering if MJJ would have wanted the kids to be so visible in the public eye. It really wasnt until now that we have seen them in the public eye so much - unguarded.
The words from Marlon were very touching. MJJ was his Big Brother.
Long LIve the King!

I had managed not to cry through the whole service but when his daughter started crying, I lost it. I hate to see children cry and I know if people who never even met him could feel so attached to him through his music and humanitarianism, I couldn’t imagine what his children are going through. He always spoke of his children and how much he loved to be a father so my condolences definetely go out to his family but especially his children. Now, I’ve always had my doubts about whether they were his biological children or not but regardless of if he was their biological father, it doesn’t matter. He was a parent to them and they obviously loved him and miss him very much so my heart goes out to them.

I remember when the Thriller video came out I prayed to God that Michael Jackson did not get married until I had a chance. I remember crying to God because Iove him so much!! I tape the making of Thriller and I would watch it over and over again.
Rest In Peace and may God give your family strength during this time. It may be the Jackson’s time now but it will be yours another time. Fans continue to speak good will to keep the naysayers shut down! He was truly the greatest entertainer on Earth! There will never be another one.
We will always love you Michael.

I think I’m in love with Usher all over again. When he walked down and touched that casket! Omg! He had me! Thank goodness I didn’t have to work today. They would’ve had to send me home!
This memorial service was absolutely beautiful! A wonderful tribute to the king! I wish that I could talk to Michael right now and let him know how much I love and appreciate him and the message he tried to convey all this time! We took you for granted and you were an angel among us. Only now all too late do we realize how much of a genius you were! God bless you Michael!

Wow. That a beautiful memorial service, the RIGHT way to do it. Rev. Al Sharpton uplifted me, as well as brought tears to my eyes. That was one of the best memorials I’ve ever seen. His daughter speaking at the end broke me down. Poor baby and I can’t even begin to imagine what the family is going through. I never got to meet Michael and that was something I wanted to do before I left here but we will meet one day. See you on the other side. We love you Michael. Rest in Peace!

J Hudson, now that is one strong lady. can’t begin to imagine how hard it must have been for her to perform at a memorial service..something she shouldn’t do just yet, considering what happened to her family.

THIS WAS AMAZING AND SO PROFESSIONALLY DONE.
AL SHARPTON AND THE CONGRESSWOMAN THAT SPOKE DID A GREAT JOB WITH THEIR SPEECHES! I APPLAUD THEM FOR THEIR POWERFUL WORDS. I HOPE THE IGNORANT PEOPLE GOT THE MESSAGE! THE PERFORMANCES WERE GREAT. LOL @ PEOPLE SAYING MARIAH’S VOICE IS GONE. AT LEAST SHE WAS THERE TO SHOW HER SUPPORT. SHE GETS MY RESPECT FOR SHOWING UP. (CAN’T SAY THE SAME FOR DIANA ROSS OR ELIZABETH TAYLOR. WHAT IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN ATTENDING SOMEONE’S MEMORIAL SERVICE?) NOTHING. I UNDERSTAND YOU’RE GRIEVING BUT IF HIS FAMILY CAN DO IT, SO CAN YOU. SHAME ON YOU BOTH FOR BEING SO SELFISH!

My prayers goes out to the family of Michael Jackson. Let us remember God gives and he takes away for a reason. Eventhough his life was short in our eyes but, he accomplish so much in his short life. Now that Paris business had me ready to cry. This should show people that he was a real person…he wasn’t a molester and he didn’t hurt his kids or anyone elses. He was a good guy and I honestly believed that he was a kid at heart and just enjoyed helping other kids. Just think about what grown man would risk all the money and fame in the world just to ruin it by hurting children. I think that he was so devoted to helping children and people in general that he saw past the money and really looked at helping families and children (eventhough at times they took advantage of his celebrity). I think MJ wasn’t normal…but none of us are. We are all different and have our strange habits and behaviors. Its what makes us who we are and if our behaviors were broadcast for all to see we might get the same attention. At the end of the day there will only be one MJ.

I’m getting annoyed with the disrespectful comments.
Look when your music and life has touched millions of people over a 38 year span your memorial service is just a bit bigger than everybody elses.
So for everyone that’s mad the MJ is clogging the media, they can simply check the online sources for other news. In the meantime suck it up…
BTW I cried when Paris spoke…

No matter what they say about him God has the final say in they will only be hurting his children at this point. Now that is the way you celebrate an ICON. BET was wrong. RIP MIKE.

I CAN NOT BELIEVE THAT IDIOTS ARE QUESTIONING IF HIS BODY WAS IN THE CASKET. SO WHAT. A OPEN CASKET WOULD BE CHAOTIC, PEOPLE WOULD BE TRYING TO GET CLOSE. AND ISN’T IT ABOUT CELEBRATING THE LIFE AND SPIRIT ‘AND NOT THE BODY’. GOD BLESS HIS CHILDREN AS THE MEDIA TRIES TO PUT THEM IN THE LIMELIGHT AND CREATE DISGUSTING RUMORS ABOUT THEIR FATHER. IT IS NOT THE TIME, I DON’T CARE HOW ICONIC HE WAS, PRIVACY IS DESERVED AT SOMETIME.
