Amerie feat. Lil’ Wayne – Heard ‘Em All (Remix) (full) – listen
In an attempt to give Amerie’s Def Jam debut, In Love & War the push it needs, they’ve added Lil’ Wayne to the Eric Hudson-produced, Sean Garrett-penned “Heard ‘Em All.” Admittedly, the song has grown on me a lot from the first listen. I think it’s because of the setting, this song definitely knocks in the club. Although Amerie’s album has been pushed back a couple of times, it is scheduled to release November 3rd, and a video for “Heard ‘Em All” is in the works. No word on whether or not Wayne will be involved.
Cassie – Can You Feel Me (full) – REMOVED
Another of many tracks recorded for Cassie’s sophomore album, tentatively titled Electro Love has leaked. No wonder on production credits, but it’s definitely in the same vein of the other pop/dance records that Cassie has recorded for the new album. Currently, they are promoting the single “Let’s Get Crazy,” featuring Akon and a video is said to bein the works.
LeToya Luckett – Don’t Let Me Get Away (full) – listen
With the success of LeToya’s much awaited sophomore album from fans, it seems that she’s been basking in the success and the all-of-the-sudden huge promotional blitz. Here’s an iTunes bonus track from Lady Love entitled “Don’t Let Me Get Away.” I can see why it was left off the album. Although the song is solid, something about it seems a bit unfinished, with some empty spots.
Jay-Z – Ghetto Techno (full) – listen
Months ago last year, Jay-Z and Timbaland made an announcement that for his new album, The Blueprint 3, Tim would be producing the helm of the album and that it would have a more “worldy” sound. And if by “worldly,” they mean “pop,” Timbaland and Jay-Z definitely achieved their goal with this track, “Ghetto Techno,” that is an outtake from the album. Since then, it was been found that Timbaland will not produce the majority album, which hits stores on September 11th.

I love Amerie, can’t wait for her new album. LeToya’s album is pretty solid, but nobody is really checkin for her this time around. She didn’t have a big enough hit for the album for people to run out & buy it. “Torn” was a HUGE R&B/Urban record that everone was in love with, including radio…can’t say the same about her 2 singles from this album.

Amerie: Only like Lil Wayne’s verse – and I’m not a big Lil Wayne fan. I only like one Amerie song and it’s an olderrr tune, not a fan of Amerie at all! What is she even singing about in this song?
Cassie: Ugh! Why does she always sound so dead and boring in her songs? ‘Official Girl’ is the most upbeat song I’ve heard her sing. I haven’t heard all her songs so I don’t know if she has many upbeat songs but the one’s I have heard are whack. She sounds bored when she sings.

Geesh. Cassie REALLY cannot sing.
I know she gets hated on all the time, but I now see why. She’s really, really bad.
The problem honestly is her voice. Her songs are actually good, but her voice is just awful. She sounds like a whiny first grader begging the teacher to go to the bathroom.
I mean listen to Amerie, she’s not a great singer, but at least her voice is tolerable.
I just don’t get it. Aubrey O’ Day was on the Wendy Williams show saying how Diddy made them rehearse 8 hours a day, and go through all of these intense singing lessons and conditioning…….what does he do with Cassie?
I don’t know her personally, and I don’t know what her relationship with Diddy is like, but how can she still be signed to his label if she isn’t involved with him romantically. He denies it, but seriously her last hit came out four years ago and I doubt her CD has yet gone platinum and she sounds awful in her studio tracks .There is no other logical explanation for her to still have a record deal….
Cassie and Hiedi Montag should do a duet together. That would be priceless. They’re both attention whores and that would get them plenty of attention.

yay, are some really cassie hater. The girl is mad talented. Yah her voice isn’t as strong, but it different in a good way. I personality like it, because it isn’t mainstream like some fake artists today stealing peoples hits. Cassie, is a really humble and mellow person. You got admire her how all haters like to hate, but she still keep it cool.
As for Letoya her album was solid, to bad she didn’t promote as much.
And Amerie I love the song very African musical inspire, I can see this song a hit in the club. And with little wayne verse add make it even better. Hopefully she decide to use the remix as the official version and it possible can help her sales. Amerie is definitely a underrated artists. She always bring something new and always new hot dance tracks.

Amerie – I guess I previously heard this song minus Lil Wayne before. It’s an ok song, and I’m sure it will have a bigger effect in the club as people say, or where ever else, but I personally like Why R U better. For some reason people were not feeling that song, but I can bump it all day.
Cassie – I guess there is a market for this, and she is trying to hit it. But whenever I hear most of her songs that I can bare, she just sounds uninspired. She sounds the same in all of her songs – no variety, no tonal change. A song of hers that I really do like though is the I’m guessing Dream penned Nobody But You. That’s about the only song of her’s that I have on my Zune. But I’m sure this song will do well at a rave techno party.
Letoya Lucker – This is a chill mellow with a strong main beat. I’m feeling itt I’m not sure if it would be a favorite, but it’s a solid effert, and I’m glad that it is going to be a bounus, because some people are really going to love it. I just hope that she and Amerie come hard, because they are two people that I am really going to be rooting for.

There is nothing in her voice its like she is half dead. There are bad singers out but come on they all have something she does not have. That is personality in their voice. With dance songs Ciara and Rihanna can at least get you pumped. Cassie will have me falling asleep even with a dance track. I don’t understand.

It aint just that she can’t sing. She lacks excitement and overall attitude in her voice. You don’t have to be able to sing to have attitude in your voice. But it will make people want to listen.
