Introducing Kevin “KC” Cossom. He’s the first and feature signee on super-producer, Nate “Danjahandz” Hill’s new label, New Age Rockstars (N.A.R.S.), via Jive Records. But even before a release of any type of album, or single, Kevin is already a veteran in the game.
The 24-year-old Orlando native has worked with many industry heavyweights, and while putting the finishing touches on his currently untitled debut album, has found time to lend his pen to hits such as Keri Hilson’s “Knock You Down,” (which has peaked at #3 on the Billboard Hot 100) as well as hooks and tracks for Trey Songz, Rick Ross, Jeezy and many more.

I was just ready to hear some wack ass overproduced auto-tuned bull, before I even clicked on the song. I’m suprised it wasn’t, good for him, I’m glad to be able to actually hear what the hell he sounds like, but the fact is the song is boring mid tempo track, he can sing, just got to pick better material.

Its sounds fresh, and reminds me of that good ole 90′s timbaland type stuff, like the stuff on the Romeo Must Die soundtrack etc

He sounds real whiny and I’ve heard this sound soooooo many times before. Vocal, track, everything is way too familiar. Like its been “worked over” by so many male artists over the last few years. Tired of this kind of production. Why can’t somebody come out and bring that gritty, soulful, sweet, southern sound of male singers like Bobby Womack and Glenn Jones back in the 70s. I really want to heard some pure music without all the overproduction and auto-tune and all that other crap! No offense to this new artist but it was just the same ole, same ole!

I belive they are finger cybals of sime kind, but not sure. They were most likly lifted from a percussion loop of some kind. Timbo *cough* danja has been using the whole “middle eastern” thing for years.
I ENJOYED THE TRACK, PERSONALLY.
I FELT HIS SOUND WAS CONFIDENT, HE HAD NICE RUNS THROUGHT THE SONG, THE AD-LIBS WERE KINDA COOL, AND HE SOUNDED LIKE THIS SONG HAD MEANING FOR HIM.
SO MANY ARTISIT MAKE THESE LACK-LUSTER SONGS BECAUSE THEY CAN’T CONNECT TO THE LYRICS ASND IT TURNS OUT QUESTIONABLE AND NON-BELIEVEABLE BUT THIS SONG WAS A GOOD ONE
