President Barack Obama, First Lady Michelle Obama and their daughters Malia and Sasha disembark from the Air Foce One at the Cape Cod Coast Guard Air Station on Martha’s Vineyard earlier this week.
The First family are on a week-long vacation on the exclusive island of Martha’s Vineyard and were also pictured on Wednesday afternoon enjoying some lunch at a local eatery.

I love this family. I love the fact that they are what they are, they do what they do, but above it all they still do human things, and they keeps it real. Unlike some politians and celebrities, that lives their lives like they are perfect and only do what the media expects for them to do. For example The Bush’s, ya feel me. You can tell Obama loves his wife and kids. You couldnt say the same for George Bush. Ya feel me, justa quick example

@17…no they don’t. They (He) hit the ground running, and now is a time for a break. Calm down. The country is not going to fall into the 3rd world category if the Obama ladies take their father and husband with them on a week long break away from the White House.
Look at what needs to be done. Approvals, explanations, and clarifications <<–all of which can be handled by the Vice President or by a brief statement. Besides, it’s not a true break, He gets briefed every day (I’m sure every hour) about what is going on around the country and around the World. If something needs his dire attention, say N. Korea bombs LA, then vacation will be cut short, but seeing as how the week is almost over, so is the vacation, and Obama will be back in the Office.

Bush was on vacation more oft than he was supposed to be doing his job at running this country. Maybe that is why Obama was handed this hot pile of mess that the former administration left for him. Do you really think he would have won if Bush didnt do such a terrible job? I doubt it.

Everybody forgets that Bush spent more time “officially on vacation” than any other President in HISTORY. This is a fact that I’m pretty sure the Obama White House is aware of and is making sure the family does not get anywhere near Bush’s vacay record.

He does travel, that’s part of his job, what you elected him for. He is making amends (for lack of a better word) with other countries, and sometimes he takes the girls along.
FYI the girls go to private school, and Sidwell doesn’t go back until September, if not next week, the week after (following Labor Day).

RIP Ted wow I knew he was sick but the last pictures of him he looked good. He may have had some scandals in the beginning but he was very instrumental in black rights all human right and in Obama’s successful campaign.
