Guess who was spotted arriving to dinner in West Hollywood earlier this week? Hint: She always has something negative to say about black bloggers..
It’s Gabrielle Union. The actress was spotted arriving to the Boa restaurant in West Hollywood on Wednesday night. Gabrielle is currently suing a popular gossip blog for defamation and she rarely has anything positive to say about black bloggers when speaking to the media. However, she always speaks highly of Perez Hilton. Makes you wonder.
In related news, Gabrielle is currently working on a couple TV projects; no motion pictures in the works just yet.

She probably don’t be talking about us black bloggers because she’s too scared that somebody might tell her boojey ass what we really think of her. I mean she’s a good actor, but don’t start thinking 2 highly of yourself chick because Vivica A. Fox and Sanaa Lathan can beat you out on your BEST day. But I know the real reason why she suing, some bloggers said something true about her, and it hurt her little feelings. Well GET OVER IT. Bloggers talk about everybody, shoot if she sues, then all the celebrities can sue. Somebody need to change her pampers because I can’t stand a crybaby.

Technically, I like Gabrielle…shes a great actress… And you all say she down our race. Look how we put ourselves out there! So shes telling the truth! I mean its pros n cons…everything you see in the media isnt true…I mean stop being so cliche’ about this whole ordeal about her! Gabrielle is a great person and i have alot of respect for her…shes a very ambitous beautiful black woman! who deserves respect!
Even before she became associated withe seeing Wade, this site and others tore her down, so one thing has nothing to do with the other. I don’t blame her one bit for feeling the way she does.
Just like black bloggers, she is entitled to her opinion so get over it already. Move on. She is still a good actress, just as good as the white ones out there.
Mrs Wade had problems with Mr Wade long before Gabby. Didn’t he give her venereal diseases before Gabby came along. And she can go to jail for assault and battery like Da Brat for 3 yrs or so over a man that was a cheat long ago. And then what, women will still be with him while she’s in jail. Not worth it at all. Leave Gabrielle alone.
You should stop giving her publicity. All the black bloggers should stop supporting her and do no posts on her. She will realize that Perez and all of the “other” blogs care nothing for her.
Nia, do we know exactly what Gabrielle said regarding Perez? Angel made reference to Gabrielle supporting P Hilton. Another poster put it in a different context. The poster said Gabrielle stated Perez was very suppotive of the hispanic/lantino entertainers. If that is true, her comments were very narrowly focused on the support he gives his own and perhaps conversely the lack of support we give our own. Didn’t sound like an overall endorsement to me! However, I didn’t read her Perez related comments for myself. If it is true she is drawing a comparison between the latino bloggerr and other black bloggers on this very specific point (being supportive of your own),, then so be it.
We have to read and investigate for ourselves. If we don’t know, no one forces us to form an opinion. We really don’t have to have or express an opinion on people or subjects we know little about. And most importantly when reading anything, we should use common sense. (making a general statement that is not directed at anyone)
she has never been one of my fav actresses, something about her acting skills are very boring to me but i didn’t know that she made such a general comment to essence mag about “ALL” black bloggers, i mean there a some that do spread hate but if she hasn’t been on every black blog how can she make such a statment and then to publicly stand behind a blogger and blogsite that’s known for constant drama, like girl are you serious, for the most part i can go either way with gabby i can take her or leave her but im now leaning towards leaving her after such a broad generalized comment like that, gabby, kick rocks!
oh and another thing, i don’t think it so much as the blogger or the site as it is the ppl that comment on the site, that’s where all the hate comes from, because honestly i have seen some sites that make degrading, tear you down comments but i have never seen that on CL from the blog site itself, now what ppl say that post on the site is something different, but you can’t control what ppl say and if they are saying that she was boning a married nba player by the name of d wade she need to have the beef with d wade’s wife cause she’s the one that put it out there.
