MAG STUFF: TARAJI P. HENSON IN MEN’S FITNESS

Check out some photos from Taraji P.Henson’s spread in the September issue on Men’s Fitness. The Oscar nominated actress spoke exclusively with the mag about various topics. Peep some snippets below.

On Men
“Most men are fragile,” she says. “I’m a successful woman, in the public eye, and raising a kid by myself. It can leave guys feeling like, ‘Damn, how can I have a chance?’” Answer: “Just be a man!”

Have a Gentleman’s Touch
“A woman is gentle, soft, delicate, and a man’s position is to protect her-help her up stairs, make sure she’s in the car safely fi rst. Take good care of your woman, and the sky’s the limit!”

Avoid Mama Drama
“Date a woman with children only if you are ready to man up, because it’s a position that comes with responsibility. If you don’t want anything too serious, then stay with women with no kids.” ( READ MORE / MORE PHOTOS)

    Taraji looks phenomenal!!!

Women, stop sleeping and having children with low-down good for nothing dudes. You knew he wasn’t ish when you met him–no job, 9 kids by 10 baby mama’s (yes i meant that on purpose) and 30 stilling living in the basement. Men nowadays are only going to do what you allow them to do because most of them lack scruples. Stop trying to be the “independent woman”, ladies, you don’t have to. It’s a mans job to take care of you, he’s a man. When you make them feel otherwise you’re only breeding someone who feels entitled and they look at you like “you have everything, what you need me for”. When push comes to shove, men need to feel wanted if you keep trying compete with them you will only emasculate him AKA fagg*tize. Another thing, I know in this day in age it’s hard for The Immoral but stop KISSING and having SE-X before he “put a ring on it”. A man will be more inclined to marry you if you do. So, in conclusion, women when you do what you’re supposed to and men still act the way they do, you can no longer be the scapegoat for underachieved irresponsible men.

  3. Why Naked?

Why are these chicks always going Naked or Half-naked?

Is it done to boost their career?

Here we go ! Don`t turn this into a Judah post, this is about Taraji ,Judah is a manipulator and there is nothing profound about what he said. What he wrote was garbage and uneducated.HE HAS AN AGENDA,he wants to maniplate the attention off of Taraji and on to him.Judah will write something under the name of Judah, and then come back on and assume another name like Zulu, pretending to be another person and UNDER this fake name Zulu he will write something like this,Oh,Judah you are so profound, This is how Judah operates. Not only is he not profound but he is mentally ill.

  5. kia

This is true,Judah is a manipulator,he tries to say the most shocking and outrageous thing so that you will respond to him. That is what he wants because that takes the focus off of Taraji and puts it on him, which is what he wants.BLACK PEOPLE,Don`t ever let somebody manipulate your mind, especially someone like judah, who is about as intelligent as a monkey in a zoo.PROFOUND? PROFOUND to who a retarded person, his comment was the most uneducatd comment I saw.

  6. Revelation 22:7

Sadly, another young woman held captive to the seductions of this passing world. The whole Hollywood environment is ungodly and evil, there is nothing to praise about it. A lot of people go to Hollywood with nothing in their pockets, only a dream and determination. But what they find is that it’s an organized Babylonian empire with one goal: mass control of the masses to follow their Luciferian agenda. The people you see that are called “stars” are just a front, puppets- even victims I would say. The devil wants our souls so badly, our human minds cannot even begin to fathom the strategies and warfare going on to carry out his plan. But Jesus destroyed him on the cross, when He shed His blood for us. Satan is a defeated enemy when we are in Christ Jesus. All authority has been placed behind His mighty name. Taraji needs to be saved. She needs to stop and think about Eternity. There are only two places to go when your time is up: heaven or hell. The choice is yours… The time is Now.

    “Behold I come quickly…” 22:7

Thank you 4 the comment #40

  8. SARCASMIC

    @JUDAH

WHY THE HELL DO YOU GIVE YOUR TIME & ENERGY TO COMMENT NEGATIVELY WHEN YOU COULD BE DOING SOMETHING PRODUCTIVE WITH YOUR LIFE. AT THE END OF THE DAY YOU’RE STILL GIVING THESE CELEBS, CL + THE USERS ATTENTION. SO THE ONLY PERSON WHO LOOKS STUPID IS YOURSELF.

    YOU FAIL.

ON A LIGHTER NOTE, TARAJI IS A BEAUTIFUL & SUCCESSFUL BLACK WOMAN & SHE DESERVES HER SUCCESS AND MUCH MORE, THIS IS ONLY THE BEGINNING…VERY PROUD OF HER!

    She looks amazing!

  11. TOYA

If someone like Barack and Michelle Obama, who are truly educated and have real degrees from Harvard, read what Judah wrote they would say that he is the most uneducated stupid negro that they have ever seen because it looks like it was written by someome who is ignorant and FROM THE STREETS AND A EX-CONVICT WHO graduated from THUG TECH UNIVERSITY there is nothing profound about what Judah wrote.Profound means someone that has great insight and deep knowledge like Jesus. What Judah wrote, not only is it not profound but it looks like it was written by a ignorant negro from the streets who is a high school dropout.

  12. skylark2307

Man, she is gorgeous beyond words…

  13. WOW

    @ Judah
Black women have the highest rate of non marriage because we don’t know how to keep our legs and mouths closed? I wish your mother had kept hers closed then you wouldn’t be here you pathetic piece of sh!t. Your father should have just ej*culated into the air. You are such a waste of sp*rm. I get so sick of negroes like you blaming everything on black women. I’m sure the non married women aren’t missing out on a damn thing if men like you are what they have to choose from nowadays. Like being married to an ignorant negro like you is such a prize to win. Give me a break. The women of other races can have you.

  14. missnikkit

Wow! She looks hawt! And she has a son, no daughter…judah, I’m feeding into your hype by responding to your weak behind, I usually ignore people I can’t stand but I must say…stfu and go play in traffic you pathtic ingrate. You must hate black females and even more, successful black females and males…stay off the post you sick lunatic. You are over read, over rated, and it takes a real person to think for themselves and end the speculation. Don’t believe everything you read folks. Decide for yourselves the truth will set you free…judah is not the truth

  15. JUDAH

—-Let me say this, my comment is not for every black woman, which is why I used
—-the term “many”. Honestly, if people can not see how absolutely idiotic and
—-ridiculous her statements were, then I have no idea what to tell you. There’s an
—-old saying that when you throw a rock into a pack of dogs, the only ones that bark
—-are the ones that got hit, so the women who got irate about my comment (which
—-was the absolute truth) are probably whorish women themselves with outlandish
—-expectations for what a “man” should be.

    —@Lovely Posture

—Sis, the problem is that women speak about being “protected”, but they don’t
—understand how that arrangement works. For example, when a country wants the
—United States to “protect” them, they must give over all power, suzerainty, and
—natural resources to the United States. If you women want to be “protected”, you
—must drop the “strong, independent black woman” nonsense. There can’t be two
—bulls in a pen. Furthermore, I don’t give a damn how you believe the pictures look.
—In a whorish society like this, I don’t believe that most black women even know
—what “tasteful” is. Like I said, you sisters have embraced a DELUSIONAL, self-
—destructive mentality that has only worked to assist in destroying the black
—community and the family unit. The debate is not about the beauty of the black
—woman. The issue is this self-worship psychoses that needs to be eradicated from
—the black woman’s mind. They are quick to list the things that a man should do
—for them, but are ignorant as to what their role is.

    —@ I BITE MY TONGUE & KIA a.k.a. The Same F*ckin Clown-A$$ Negro

—Most of the time I simply ignore idiots, but you made such an a$$ of
—yourself doing something that you accused me of doing, that I decided to have a
—little fun with you, lol. What does the word “educated” mean? You cannot even
—spell or use proper grammar, lol. I thought that the GED exams were more
    —demanding than that?

  16. OrangeStar616

some of these commenst are real dumb folk from DC really from here, washingtonians, have a twang in thier speehc that is not hood rat in the least.
Never did she dress or act like one either, my only issue is she wasn’t representing the FLYness of our urea, but now she has really grown..love it much success!!!

Single ladies wirh no kiddies don’t have time for BS either tho LOL

  17. LUVNLIFE

@ rn I BITE MY TONGUE FOR NO ONE.

Finally, someone sees this Judah (or Judas as I like to call him) for what he really is an attention seeking, desperate person. And then he has the nerve to call someone a whore. Can we say attention-whore! Lol at the pot calling the kettle black. And what makes it even worse is that some of these people co-sign for him. I can see straight through his antics. He’s manipulative and hateful to the core. Someone who has this many issues with black people and never any solutions? Is he even black? SMH

  18. LUVNLIFE

Look, Judah or shall I say Judas, Get over yourself and your foolish ego!

You seem to be only concerned with dissing women.
Were you abused as a child
    Scared to smile
    They called you ugly
Well life is harsh don’t reject me or make statements to disrespect me blatant or indirectly.

At first I was upset by some of the things this person has said about black women or blacks in general and then it became saddening because I thought to myself whoever has that much animosity and hatred in their hearts has to be living a miserable life and really be on or on the verge of medication. This can’t be healthy!

    Look Judah,

    1. All black women are not any one way and for you to constantly group us is wrong.

    2. Are you your sister’s keeper or her enemy. If your rants are meant for good, why not convery them in a more positive manner. Maybe, just maybe, you will get people to change their behavior. But for some reason, I don’t think you really care about black women as much as you like to make them feel inferior. And you claim to be a follower of Christ?

Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit … Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them” (Matthew 7:17, 18, 20). The fruit they bear is that which distinguishes the children of God from the children of the Devil.

  19. JUDAH

——Lmao, some of you black women are so funny. As soon as the truth comes out,
——you get all irate and out of sorts….not really knowing what to say, so you just
——say anything. Again, not all the sisters, but most. You can’t refute one thing I’ve
——said so you run to the “uneducated” nonsense, when most of you don’t even
——know what the word means, nor it’s etymology. The things that the sisters should
——be educated in, they are not. As far as “Barack and Michelle”, I don’t know how
——they got involved, but neither one of them are intelligent. They were set up. Some
——of you black people that worship them should do a youtube search on “Obama
——without the teleprompter”, lol. Honestly, I’ve forgotten more than some of the
——so-called “educated” people will ever know, so spare me.

    ——@WOW

——See, that’s why you can’t get married, lmao. You’re one of those dogs that got
——hit by the rock. Keep barking. Numbers don’t lie.

  20. JUDAH

    ——@LuvNLife

——You have poor reading comprehension “educated” black woman. I never said all
——women, but I GURANTEE that you’re one of the women that my comments
——apply to because you’re barking too, lol.

  21. Young MONEY

To all the Women….I mean Ladies of CL (because you are all ladies).

Please pay no attention to “JUDAH”

“Judah” hates women as you can clearly see and pontificates all types of nonsense (and hateful rhetoric) which explains why he is bitter and alone. People like this are challenged by women who are successful and who have a strong sense of themselves. You see Judah’s BS only works with people who have low self esteem (like himself).

Only an insecure “man” like “Judah” would come to an entertainment blog and get offended by statements that celebrity makes about men in her personal experience. This buffoon even comes on here to call Jay-Z and Rihanna “devil” worshipers.” Yet where is Judah the “Self-Righteous”? Right here on Concrete Loop watching their every move like a true STAN. This man has no life and apparently has the time to invent all types of pedestrian conspiracy theories to build up some sense of self esteem that he clearly does not have. I suggest that we collectively pray for these types of “brothers”. He clearly is a bum and unemployed and searching for himself. Lets hope Obama’s health insurance reform passes so he can afford the proper psychologist so he can improve his mental health and maybe then some special woman can help him continue his growth process.

Until then I hope you Ladies laugh at this clowns comments because he is a case study in self hate if I ever saw one.

Well done @ Kia, Lovely Posture and WOW

This is the most attention JUDAH gets in his pathetic life so keep that in mind.

  22. LUVNLIFE

Where did I ever say I was “educated”? So, no, YOU have poor reading comprehension skills Judas. And for the record nothing you have to say applies to me because who are you again? I just write you off as THAT internet bully angry at black women for whatever reason and/or anyone who disagrees with you or calls you to the carpet for some of your choice words.

Bulletin Alert: YOU DO NOT KNOW EVERYTHING. YOU CAN BE OFFENSIVE & CERTAINLY YOU CAN BE WRONG SOMETIMES. But instead of humbling yourself, you like to make everyone else be wrong, uneducated, irate, etc.

Sweetie, do black women a favor:
From now on, if you don’t have any CONSTRUCTIVE criticism for us, Take it and Shove it!

  23. JUDAH

    —–@Young Funny

—–Lmao, now, if I’m watching everyone because I’m a “STAN” (niggas really need to
—–find a new word, especially you “educated” negroes), and you’re watching me,
—–then what does that make you to me? I think I remember you as one of those
—–imbeciles that harassed me previously. Still infatuated? I love when some of you
—–sisters do the “black female call-to-arms” and say “JUST IGNORE HIM!!!”, lmao.
—–I see that you’re trying to use multi-syllabic words to come off as intelligent. Not
—–working, lol. Big words don’t make you intelligent, big ideas do. If you were
—–intelligent, instead of writing essays based on speculation and emotion, wouldn’t
—–it just be easier to not say anything, ignore me, and hope others follow suit? You
—–can’t do that because the truth cuts you, and others to your heart, and I love every
    —–minute of it lol.

  24. Liz E

    @ Judah

I am a mother, and I must say, that what you were trying to say at first, is the truth. As black women we let degrees, jobs, fashion, and television shows define us, now days. We have become weak. We worry about the wrong damn things. We have forgotten that we are strong and that god provides us with everything we need. We have forgotten us as women our roles in life. Not all of us but some of us.

  25. truthfullyspeaking

Kyla, I agree with you 100%!

I also think that nobody with damn kids should be f*cking and getting their p***y licked in movies! How embarrassing? Any child would be ashamed of their “mother” and would cry! I can’t believe so many people on here are praising this trash. I really do not like her. She is still very ghetto and classless. Why are people hyping her? And that comment about her being helped upstairs and the door being opened… this is the damn 00′s! get over it. I don’t mind paying to go out, treating a man, helping him if he’s injured, holding the door for him, it should be 50/50! I really don’t know why many women still believe that a man is supposed to cater to a woman or hold down the household… no, both do things for each other and this is coming from a 19 year young female LOL! Also, I don’t have kids, which is hard to believe now-a-days, not married, and I don’t want any kids… seriously! This world is horrible and I don’t want all the drama and fearness of having my kids growing up in this society. I don’t understand why anyone, young, would be okay dating a person with a child! That’s a turn off for me. Of course when you’re in your 30′s 40′s you can expect that person to have a child… but 18-22 wtf?

  26. JUDAH

    —–@Liz E

—–Thank you ma’am. The black man has become weak and has been weak, to the
—–point where he has failed himself, his women, and his children. This is why
—–speaking to some of these blackwomen has become like speaking to an uncaged
—–animal. They have been raised with a healthy disrespect of the black male due to
    —–his failure.

  27. Young MONEY

    @ Judah

My previous comment was not an ‘essay.” You attack me for using the term “STAN” (which is used in the context of this Blog. That word in not part of my usual vocabulary…Irony is also lost on you) But look at how you express yourself??? “Essay???”. I’m sure you are more accustomed to the inarticulate expressions found on BET and other Blogs but I favor language and I express myself very well. I also did not respond to your banal comments to win your approbation. That was not ever my intent. And trust me I ignore most of your comments or I just laugh at them. But I think it’s better (in some instances) to educate or engage people with views I don’t prescribe to. People like you “JUDAH” need to evolve and perhaps you don’t experience enough rigorous discourse because if you did maybe you would not cling to some of these rather antiquated views of women and other people in your community. Maybe you would like yourself more. You come across very threatened by women and maybe this is something you should explore and change. Attacking women and being an internet bully is not in your best interest Judah. Think about it. This Blog is owned and run by a successful African American woman so the very platform you have selected makes you look foolish and out of touch. How can you hate women this much and be on a Blog run by a woman? I suggest you pick up more progressive pursuits and stop worrying about things “entertainers” say, do or wear. Use some of your critical incite and apply it to your own life because you are in need of many things Judah. Jay-Z and Rihanna are on their own journey what are you doing???? Some of the overall points you make are valid. But your approach is misguided and your views are disjointed and incomplete. Lauren Hill said something I never forgot which was before she said something or Sang about it she had to understand it first. I suggest you take that same approach because you speak a lot of nonsense that you don’t even fully understand and you come off offensive which may be your intent but people don’t take you as seriously as you imagine.

  28. Young MONEY

    @Truthful

It’s called acting people. If you don’t like a particular role then don’t watch the movie but don’t act like you are in some ways better than a women who is an actress and takes on roles with a sexual edge. People have to understand that taste level is subjective and I’m sure Taraji P.Henson is a great mother. I think people tend to be a little too critical of others. Raise your own children. If people did more of that i’m sure as a community of people we would be much better off.
Women have come a long way and I don’t think I’m saying that Taraji P.Henson is a role model. She is an actress. And that is a journey. I’m sure now she will have much more control on the types of roles she wants to do. Michelle Obama is a role model and look….a few years ago we would not think that was possible. Sasha and Malia rep a new generation of women who will have more options and those types of people keep growing in number. Entertainers are just that. These are not role models and they don’t represent all Black Women……..get some perspective people.

  29. WOW

    @ Judah
Sorry to burst your bubble but I married my high school sweetheart @ the age of 18 and have been happily married for the last 11 years. That’s the problem with people like you…you ASSume too much when you don’t know jacksh!t.
Honestly you remind me of that guy who shot all those women in their aerobics class @ the gym all because he couldn’t get a date. He hated women so much for rejecting him. Yeah I could see you doing something like that Judah.

  30. styleguru

#28- I think you are taking what Taraji said out of context, most women who have kids are a package deal, if a man wants to be in a relationship with her, that man also has to have some sort of a relationship with her child/children as well (not the father role; but he can’t act like the child/children arent there) she’s basically saying if a man doesnt want the responsibility of a child than he should strictly date women without any kids, don’t take offense….

  31. Young MONEY

    LMAO@ WOW

    You just killed Judah!!!!!

    dying!

the sad thing is you’re right!

Judah is very hateful and alone and dejected.

I’m sure violence is also part of his life.

Any “man” with that much hate has some deep issues

  32. JUDAH

    —–@Young Funny

—–Why do you keep typing these elongated diatribes that have no point or aim,
—–lmao? Stop throwing tantrums. It’s fruitless. I asked you to address my initial
—–comment, since it obviously touched a serious nerve. Maybe there are things
—–about yourself that you need to address, that an “internet bully” was able to pull
—–so much emotion out of you. Are my thoughts that overpowering that you
—–associate them with “violence”, lol? That shows me that you are easily
—–intimidated by a black male with a brain. Now for you to “educate” me or engage
—–me in “rigorous discourse”, you have to be intelligent enough to actually make
—–points and counterpoints, which you have not shown that you can do. This is why
—–I ask what does the word “educate” mean, because you and many other people
—–on this site obviously don’t know, lmao. I’ve repeatedly stated that my comments
—–were not for every black woman. The women who are offended fall under two
—–categories 1) The females who believe that all females should be worshiped as
—–goddesses 2) whores. Which one are you? Another question that will go
    —–unanswered….

    —–@Wow

—-Congrats, lol. That man deserves an award from the ASPCA for taking a stray off
—-the streets. Hopefully the man has gotten his rabies shots. I don’t believe in
—-shooting women but I did see “Cujo” and I believe that I may have to make an
—-exception for a rabid canine like yourself. Don’t worry about getting shot though.
—-Remember, all dogs go to heaven.

  33. PYTMissyouMichael

Love her and I still think her and Ty make a great looking couple!

  34. Yeah

Angel, please block this sicko Judah once and for all. He is like a female stalker or something…

  35. *~*lady_love

    @ Shyann & Styleguru
Oh ok. I will give Taraji the benefit of the doubt. Like I said, I like her. Maybe I did take it the wrong way.

  36. shyann

Judah, shut the hell up already, does WOW need to get back in your ass again. I think you are mad becauee you want a beautiful black woman and you got rejected bc no one wants your self hating ass. Here’s some advice catch the bus back to the nearest trailer park.

  37. Jay

    Love Taraji! She’s hott!

  38. HALCYONC

I don’t care how pretty her dress is or how cute her hair is,she will always look a little “special” to me. Those eyes are to far apart. I said this before. She looks like the product of an alcoholic mother.

  39. HALCYONC

Men’s fitness huh? These pics look like something out of MAXIM. Whatever…

  40. amber

CAN I HATE HER PLEASE? SHE LOOKS DARN GOOD–AND HAS A CHILD!

    YOU GO GIRL!! :o )
