Check out the album cover for Jay-Z’s new album, “The Blueprint 3″ in stores on September 11th. The latest song from the album is “Run This Town” featuring Rihanna and Kanye West and according to reports, they will start filming scenes for the video sometime this week.

Are people really still doing this “first” thing? That’s so lame…sometimes I think people think that if they’re first, it somehow validates their lives. Sad, really.
Anyway, I like the cover. Jay is the only artist that can pull off a cover like this, because it’s a bold statement when an artist puts out a cd and doesn’t have their face on the front cover. Although I would have liked those 3 red stripes to have actually been blue stripes (for obvious reasons).
He actually looks good in these pics, although for whatever reason, I just realized that he doesn’t wear his wedding band when performing.

Instrument means by which something is done or One used by another to accomplish a purpose. Showing musical instruments was the only way to get that point across in artwork. The masses only think of instrument as only being a musical device, but to others its about influence.
