Mya’s career fell off because she was sold as something she was not: a classy, demure woman. If you listen to her album–not the singles–there’s a common hood rat thread running through them. She’s pretty and she can dance, but she has too much thug love in her. For all that everyone thinks Rihanna is fake and Ciara tries too hard, I’d choose them over Mya because I can’t get down with women who promote and love the thug image.

I didn’t like the video or the song. Mya needs to listen to Letoya’s cd because her cd is awesome from the beginning to the end. I haven’t bought a cd since MJ and Keshia Cole( second one) . I will be getting Letoya as well as Maxwell (back-ordered)on Tuesday! I hate to say this on Mya’s site but Letoya has the best female cd up to date, Maxwell has the best male ,and neither one of them had a lot of publicity.
