#2 oh get over your damn self! You like how she looks Itailian & Black?? WTF? What does her being lightskinned and mixed gotta do with how pretty you think she is??? There’s many people I’ve seen who are mixed or of a different race who are ugly as hell. I personally think that Mya is funny looking. She looks like a mouse. Mya is a wacka** artist. You would think she was classy and respected herself by the way she talks, but this is the same chick who was f*cking 50 cent and exploting herself in KING MAGAZINE! This song is a ghetto hot mess. I know the same people who are calling it ghetto and saying she can do better are the same ones who like bubblegum manufactured artists like Rihanna, Fergie and Lady Gaga who are lowclass as well, but not I. I don’t like ghetto hoodrat music, or that pop bubblegum BS! She hasn’t gotten anywhere in the industry. WOW ONE Grammy Big Whoop! A platinum album… so what? To remain relevant in the industry you gotta be consistant and sell millions and millions of albums each album. She hasn’t accomplished anything since the early 00′s in her music career. She should just give up and become a dance instructor.

I’m disappointed. She needs to get with better people. She had promise. Not so sure anymore. This video is cheap one. Two, Ms. Thing went to Phyllis E. Williams Elementary School, Kettering Middle School, and Roosevelt Highschool…all in the suburbs of P.G. County MD, not f’in DC, or even SE DC where she calls herself taking it to the streets in this video…she needs to sit the hell down.

    HOT!!

love it! I love how she brought out her ‘hood’ side. It’s a sexy song but the video was very classy. go MYA!!!

Oh ok I’ll give her an “E” for effort but alot of the comments are true from alot of aspects. She just needs better material and a better producer because this is not working for her. It seems like it’s OVERPROCESSED.

  5. JCUTIE

HAHAHA @ #58!!! Tha’t's the same thing I was thinking! WOW

  6. oh yeaa

yea…the blogs give mya a really, really hard time. I like the song. The beat is blazin, the hood theme, i like. Y’all know mya has always had a little hood influence..it suits her. If this was sung by Beyonce, this post would have 10,000 comments, everyone would be bumpin the song in their whips tomorrow.

The video doesn’t look low budget to me.. it’s looks like it was made by a smaller production company. more artists need to support the small businesses.

  7. oh yeaa

@62 yea, Mya tweeted the other day that she was from Northeast DC. she is not from DC, let alone NE. she is from Maryland. Maryland…there is a major difference..lmao

  8. T.J. F. Baby

If your from the Burbs of Baltimore, you just say your from Baltimore. If your from PG county, you just say your frm D.C. Its easier 2 use a point of reference.

speak for yourself @71…i think the song is blazin!….its so odd to me that ppl are telling celebrities women like mya, janet, trina, lil kim to give up…..would u tell your children to give up? no you wouldnt…..to tell someone to give up there craft is crazy talk……i got much respect for ppl who keep pushing and grinding…..i started my own business after college, i almost gave up, even though ppl told me it wouldnt happen …. if it hadnt been for my hard work, determination and effort i wouldnt be the sucessful woman i am today…so to all the young ppl reading some of these crazy comments never give up on what it is that you want to do…. never give up on your dreams no matter what any one tells you….and thats real talk!
