People have to unbderstand Hip hop is still in the infancy stage as it compares to other genres of music…we have two generations in the genre now, its like the yuonger group doesn;t understand this…you’ve never heard of young rock bands asking older groups to retire..why because theres room enough to make a name and attract an audience for your paticualar brand, sound, age group,,know your audience… etc…..like the sh*t these youngins listen to I cannot stand, makes very little sense to me, half these youngins I don’t even know nor do I want to …but best believe I will be getting that OBFCL2 and BP3, the audience, my generation primarily is still there for HOV and Rae and Ghost and De LA and Mos etc and will be life long

I hope that he does a video for this song, just to see the treatment that he puts to this. The song is addressing his paganistic belief in the divinity of the planets as deities, which is a staple of his cabbala teachings. Venus is the goddess of love and Mars is the god of war. That is why he mentioned the yin/yang principle somewhere in his song. It has to do, once again, with the masonic principle of equilibrium or celestial balance. That is why he said that she left him, Mars, for the “Heat”, meaning the sun….or the so-called “sun god”, Lucifer.

I listened again and I think next time he should use T-Pain. Maybe he can help him with a hit. Don’t knock autotune Jayz. You need it.

Some of you really are dumb, its okay for people to think he should retire. We are consumers he is marketing to us which means we have a say in his career. Jay is not a doctor who can heal until they’re 65, he is a rapper spitting the same lame lyrics about wealth, drugs, and ho’s at 40.

@Cheryl
Sis, he speaks in doube-speak, or helter skelter language. It means one thing to regular people (the “profane” as they say), but it means another thing to the learned. Even his photo at the top is an allusion to his godhood. That is why they have him stationed in between two high rise building with pinnacles at the top. Those buildings are modeled after the Egyptian obelisks, and are phallic (sexually regenerative) symbols. He represents the god Osiris in physical form. To a regular person, they’ll look at the photo and think it’s just saying that he is a mighty entertainer. He said she’s the “yin to my yang” because, again, the occult deals in balance. He referenced the Yin Yang twins to throw off the average listener and also to introduce the semen reference, which is integral to masonic teaching. For that matter, the Yin Yang twins are occultists as well. Even when he said “covered in gold like C3PO”, that’s referring to the robotic agenda, and the mechanization of the masses. Watch Beyonce’s “Diva” or “Sweet Dreams” video when she morphs into the robot. Her outfit is reminiscient of C3PO. Again, the reason why albums take all that time to come out is because these witches need time to effectively work out in their mind how they will communicate the message of the elite in proper code.

“If rappers stop worrying about what Jay does and do them maybe they can make a album worth buying.”

This applies to GAY-Z as well. Just do you. What was the point of DOA other than to try to ruin another man’s finances? He’s a hater. He’s jealous of a brothers success-even though he’s the one leading the pack. Pathetic.

The point of DOA was that everyone doesn’t need to do it. For example, as a fan, if I have 5 favorite artist and they are all doing autotune. I’m getting know variety. Everyone is sounding the same. Everyone being theirselves makes good music. Just because a couple of people make something hot doesn’t mean that everyone has to do it. It doesn’t sound like he’s hating on anyone. T-Pain is great at autotune. He shouldn’t stop what he’s doing. He made it poppin again, but if Game did an autotune song. That’s not his type of music. I wouldn’t want to hear it. Game has some underground music thats hard. Again it goes back to if an artist makes good music, what he says wouldn’t affect them. If someone says “they don’t like Jordans” and you do, will that stop you from buying them. No. The shoe speaks for itself. So therefore, theres no hate. The real issue is, other rappers are asking theirselves “how in the hell at 40 is he making music that is stilling getting everyones attention” and the answer is. The new artist need to start making good music and stop being followers of a trend. Being yourself last longer than any trend.

I definitely agree with Smooth…I don’t think Jay was knocking auto-tunes at all…I just think he was saying it’s really getting out of hand…I agree that it should have been left with T-Pain and T-Pain only….it takes away from creativity and gift hell I can make a song all I need is auto-tune….that’s all Jay is saying….and now you don’t know if it’s T-Pain or who because everybody using that damn auto-tune….does EVVERRYYY song we hear out now have to have autotune???? It’s getting played out, you don’t even know people voices anymore or the name of the person on the song cause it’s so many one hit wonders. Swag surfin, and fishin and shit, and swaggin out, and swag this swag that and do this, and do that (it jam in the clubs but I’m kind of gettin tired of it)….Just wish we could go back to the day when music was real and artists had their own style…Biggie, Pac, LL, Busta, Missy, Jay, Mary J….everybody had their own thing, if you heard their voice you automatically knew who it was…now you don’t know who the hell rapping these days….

JAY is that shhhh. All these people talkin about wack, are really showing their ignorance = a knowledge that should otherwise be there. Like shorty said earlier his word play better yet his s”words”play is “deadly”. It’s daunting how i read some of these comments of haters all of which are prolly afraid of broadening their horizons. The beat and flow if all else failed carried him over but the revelvancy and cohesiveness of the topic and body.

Who is he to say so? GAY-Z isn’t as important or relevent as he seems to think he is. Who died and left him in charge? Please.

How does a person say, “Jay z isn’t as important or relevant as he seems” then with the same breath say, “even though he’s the one leading the pack”. Then gets upset when Jay states his opinion. DOA was Jay’s opinion. Now why does his opinion affect the industry? Because he’s relevant. I mean you said yourself that he’s leading the pack and that’s at 40. So if he’s leading the pack and he sees something is hurting the industry (every artist autotuning). Why not say something? I don’t think the majority of fans want all the music that they listen to auto tuned. As a fan I want to hear creativity. Again artist need to be creativity and don’t allow record companies to dictate how their music sounds and be theirselves. That’s when an artist truly express themselves and make great music. Reality is, Jay is still on top. Their are a lot of people and rappers who don’t want to see him there but he’s there. Jay has been a trailblazer. People need to be honest with theirselves and admit. Jay is a true hustler and no matter if you like him or not. Which is cool if you don’t. You never have met or heard about another rapper who has been this good for this long.
