Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson gave birth to her first child on late Monday night. She and fiance David Otunga — who both opted not to find out the sex of their baby until he was born — welcomed David Daniel Otunga Jr. her publicist confirms.
“The baby boy is beautiful and perfect,” Hudson’s publicist says. “His parents are ecstatic.” Their son weighed in at 7 pounds, 14 ounces.
News that the American Idol alum was pregnant came seven months after the tragic deaths of her mother, brother and 7-year-old nephew, who were murdered last October.

…You guys think that getting married because you are having a child with someone… is the right thing to do. Getting married is coming together as one and loving someone that you want them to share your world..Trust me if you’re not getting married for the right reasons it will never last. This girl has been through a lot and i’m sure it was difficult going through her first childbirth without her mom there to see it all..Some of yall are just plain stupid and rude.
