According to a search warrant affidavit unsealed today in Houston, Michael Jackson died of “lethal levels” of the anesthetic Propofol. Dr. Conrad Murray, Jackson’s personal physician, told police that he had been treating Jackson for insomnia for about six weeks, giving Jackson 50 milligrams of Propofol every night through an IV.
Murray said he feared Jackson was becoming addicted and began weaning him off the drugs by lowering the dosage to 25 milligrams and mixing it with two other sedatives, Lorazepam and Midazolam.

According to the affidavit, on the morning Jackson died, Murray tried to induce sleep without using Propofol. He said he gave Jackson Valium at 1:30 a.m. When that didn’t work, he injected Lorazepam at 2 a.m. Because Jackson was still awake, at 3 a.m., Murray administered Midazolam.
Over the next four hours, Murray said he gave Jackson various drugs.
Then, according to court records, at 10:40 a.m., Murray administered 25 milligrams of Propofol after Jackson repeatedly demanded the drug. After monitoring him for 10 minutes, Murray said he left to use the restroom. When he returned and saw Jackson wasn’t breathing at 11 a.m., he began attempting CPR as well as a drug to reverse the effects of the sedative. However, cellphone records show Murray made three phone calls for approximately 47 minutes beginning at 11:18 a.m. He called to have security sent upstairs and then ran downstairs to the kitchen to ask the chef to send Jackson’s oldest son, Prince, upstairs, according to court documents. Murray said he continued CPR and waited for the paramedics.
The 911 call (made by one of Jackson’s staff members) came in at 12:21 p.m. The 50-year-old pop superstar was rushed to UCLA Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead. According to the warrant, Murray refused to sign the death certificate.

MJ may have been begging for what he was addicted to, but as a medical professional, not as Dr. Dumb Ass, he should have had some inkling not to give it to him; the STRONGEST of all drugs in ADDITION to the other sedatives that were given only 7 or 8 hours before…

Well, after hearing all of this, I can say that Dr. Murray was still in the wrong. Giving him dosages of 3 different drugs that I can’t even pronounce. I’m no medical expert, but just by the sound of all those drugs, it doesn’t sound like anything you should mix with NUTHIN.’ But after FINALLY hearing something of a legit story since June, I’m thinking Murray WAS actually trying to wean him off propofol, just not the right way by mixing 3 different other drugs. He was probably trying everything he could besides propofol until Michael probably threatened his employment status unless he gave him that white stuff. So of course with your job on the line and pressure to please one of the biggest celebrities ever, he gave him what he wanted. Remember, many people who worked for him have come forth saying “Nobody really wanted to say no to Michael.” You either did what he said, or you were “Shut Out.”

You don’t have to be a doctor to know that you don’t mix medications especially such strong ones, by him supposely being a doctor, he should have known of the lethal consequences.
You know what if he would have lived I wonder would both the doctor and Michael be in some type of trouble. First of all the doctor was sick in the head. He was greedy as hell and needs to be sent to jail for malpractice. But at the same time MJ knew the consequences of those drugs!! If so many people were turning him down telling him they were dangerous then he should have looked out for HIMSELF. I always say doctors are not always out there for your best interest. If anything you need to look out for yourself at all times because you can never be too sure.
Yeah, Michael was killed and I don’t think it was by accident, look at all the drugs that was given to him right together Valium, Lorazepam Midazolam and then Propofol. Although I realize that happened when he was younger and not high up in the hierarchy at that point..why couldn’t he find a decent relationship to allay his loneliness??
