Although it seems longer, it’s been nearly seven years since we’ve heard anything new from Whitney Houston. After spending the last three years recording, she’s back with I Look to You, and she sounds better than ever.

Whitney explained the title saying, “The last several years spiritually, this song says all I wanted to say. There are times in life when we go through certain situations - some not so good. You have to reach for a higher strength, you have to reach deep inside yourself, spend time with yourself to make some corrections that go beyond your own understanding and lean on a higher understanding, for me this song puts it all in check. If I did not have my faith I wouldn’t be as strong today.”

New music from Lloyd has hit the scene, featuring Juelz Santana. He parted ways with his longtime label, The Inc. earlier this year. He says there was no bad blood, he’s just looking for a new situation to grow and build on.
The new single, “Pusha” was produced by the Miami-based team, The Runners. Although Lloyd hasn’t given an album title, he has been said to be working with Jim Jonsin, Cool & Dre and Rodney Jerkins.

Rihanna was spotted with her little brother leaving a showing of The Lion King on Broadway on Friday night in NYC. The star was told by one of the paparazzi’s about DJ AM’s death and that’s why she had the shocked expression.
Ciara was spotted out and about in L.A. on Friday afternoon. She shopped at Paige Jeans and Bel Bambini before having lunch with a friend.
