SPOTTED: RIHANNA LEAVING DINNER IN SANTA MONICA

Singer Rihanna was spotted leaving dinner at Giorgio Baldi Ristorante in Santa Monica, reportedly with Jay-Z’s little nephew. Speaking of Jay-Z, the new video for “Run This Town” (featuring Riri and Kayne West) premieres this week.

COUPLED UP: NICOLE SCHERZINGER & LEWIS HAMILTON IN SANTA MONICA

British Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton, 24, and girlfriend Nicole Scherzinger, 31, of the Pussycat Dolls were spotted leaving dinner in Santa Monica this weekend.

Hamilon became the first black Formula One champion last year and is currently still racing. Nicole is reportedly working on another solo effort, after her first try never saw the light of day.

UK phenomenon and cross-over US starlet Leona Lewis has begun working on her sophomore album, a follow-up to her successful 2007 debut, Spirit.

This new track, “Don’t Let Me Down” is produced by The Y’s, who work closely with Justin Timberlake and was written by the talented James Fauntleroy.

EVENT PICS: MO’NIQUE AT THE HOODIE AWARDS

Comedian/actress Mo’Nique arrives at the seventh annual Hoodie Awards at the Mandalay Bay Events Center this weekend in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Mo’Nique recently caught up with Life & Style magazine and spoke about her 40 pound weight loss.

The Parkers star, who went from 262 to 220 pounds, says her weight has plateaued short of her goal, but she isn’t discouraged. “I want to lose more, so I’ll just keep eating better and exercising, and the weight will come off,” she says. “It took time to put in on, and it will take time to take if off.” But don’t expect Mo, 41, to get scary-skinny any time soon. “It’s still okay to be big, but let’s be big and healthy,” she says. “I had to lose some weight to get healthier because I want to be around for a while. I have twin sons who are 3 and a son who is 19, and I want the opportunity to meet their children.”

Next up for Mo’Nique, the highly anticipated new movie, Precious and her upcoming BET Talk show – set to air later on this year.
