According to reports, Beyonce and Jay-Z’s bodyguard, Julius has been charged with destroying personal property and assault, after an incident with paparazzi in Croatia earlier this week.
As previously reported, Beyonce and Jay-Z were seen leaving dinner at Gil’s restaurant on Tuesday night, heading back to their yacht when the altercation ensued.
Although a video (see below) shows the Croatian paparazzi aggressively trying to take pictures of the couple and eventually throwing a camera tripod at Julius’ back, paps tell a different story.
Croatian reports claim the footage doesn’t show Julius’ alleged attack on several paparazzo -namely photographer Dragan Banovic. Julius initially tried to stop the recording by putting his hand on the camera lens.
The bodyguard also allegedly broke a photographer’s camera light, struck him in the thigh and then the camera eventually shattered on the ground.
In a news conference on Thursday morning, in the county of Dubrovnik – Neretva, three photogs claimed Julius made threats, physically attacked them and damaged their property. Police say they are trying to track down the bodyguard so they can talk to him — the investigation is ongoing.

That is really unnecessary take your couple of pictures and few seconds of video and be done with it! There is no need to stalk them. Just because someone is celeb does not give the pap a right to harass them! Julius was doing his job by protecting his clients that’s what they do. Bodyguards get in harms way for their celeb clients. I think it’s about time celebs start fighting back.

First of all, I feel bad for the whole situation. Paparazzi were doin too much, he must followin step by step, side by side beyonce all up in her face havin not only a big ass camera, but also, a tripod followin while thye’re walkin, what the hell was the bodyguard supposed to do? I mean, its not like the pap is far away hidin, he is there in there business like that, you would tell me thats the price t pay fo fame but there are limits, they are humans, Julius made the right decision by puttin the pap aside their way, if he didnt act, you wouldnt call him a bodyguard.
However, Julius is sometimes extra rude, he is always makin them angry, sayin ‘fuck you’ or ‘your mama’ and he really overreacts sometimes, so he needs to chenae that cuz there is the result.
