Twitter was a buzz early Sunday afternoon when word got out that Oprah Winfrey and Jay-Z were seen walking around the Bed Stuy area of Brooklyn.
Jay took Oprah on a tour around Marcy Projects (where he grew up), his grandmother’s house, and more. Music executive, Kevin Liles was there and rumor has it that Beyonce was seen.
We are assuming they were taping a segment for an upcoming episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show to promote Jay-Z’s highly anticipated new album, The Blueprint III.

I think this is a great moment for both Oprah and Jay-z. Oprah has evolved in her thinking, when it comes to “rappers” and Jay-z obviously played a major role in that. I think it’s important that we at least learn something from Michael Jackson’s passing, that we should appreciate and honor one another when we are alive and to live your truth. Oprah has always been a strong advocate of living one’s truth.
Let the Beyonce thing go please. Jay is a self made man. Yes he is a rapper but he also does A LOT for the community. Like someone said Oprah is gearing up for the Rihanna interview. This has NOTHING to do with Beyonce.

Please Beyonce is NOT the reason why Jay Z is on Oprah’s show. If thats the case why now when he got an album coming out to promote when they been together for like 8 years and married for 1? It’s not like he gonna answer questions about him and Beyonce ’cause if you can’t anything out of her you’re sure not to get anything out of him. This man has been on the Forbes list for a while now and has remain in the top ten (#4 & #7) so why wouldn’t she want him on her show? I mean she had Superhead on there why not Jay? Stop trying to play him like he’s Nick Cannon or somebody because he’s well accomplished and has achieved much in his career plus he’s just doing what he’s suppose to do promote his album (duh!).
