It irritates when people ask either whether a person is relevant (Genevieve) or to go away (Rihanna). Genevieve is a well-known socialite in New York and Rihanna has a job, which, btw, is quite successful. She as well as Beyonce are the only two females with the most number one singles this decade. While I am not always the biggest fans of either RiRi’s or Bey’s music, I cannot hate on their success and it is nice to see two beautiful black women doing well in the industry.
And in this recession, it is nice to see all these ladies (including Genevieve, Christina, Ciara, Ashanti, Cassie, etc) getting OUT THERE and chasing and hustling for their careers while under the very harsh spotlight called fame.
