I caught the last 2 hours of the show on Fuse. Would’ve loved to be there but this show was similar to his solo shows from last year and his NYC shows so I don’t think I missed anything by staying home, it was quite expected. Still a good gesture on his part, I don’t think any other artists could get the people to come out on such short notice.

I thought it was interesting how he took a book from Beyonce’s page and started doing the shout outs to the audience members like she does at the end of her shows when she’s on tour.

And I just watched the videos on you tube. Rihanna and Beyonce sounded about the same to me vocally. Both did pretty good with some flatness here and there. I liked most of Beyonce’s dancing. It was very sexy. Some of it looked kinda silly at the end though. Some of the people in the audience looked like they didn’t know whether to be impressed or to laugh.

I loved Rihanna’s stage presence and all of her gesures/mannerisms. It was funny how they would keep the camera on her sometimes even when Jay was actually rapping and she was just miming along to his verse. Now that’s a star.
