It’s rapper turned actor LL Cool J! The 41 year-old is the co-star of the new series NCIS: Los Angeles in which he plays Special Agent Sam Hanna. He is pictured with co-star Chris O’Donnell and the show airs on September 22nd on CBS.

I hate it when white Hollywood pairs up a black actor who is playing a detective or investigator with a white actor who is playing an investigator and they team up to solve crimes.It`s like the white producers are saying to LL,we don`t think that a black actor can carry this TV SERIES to high ratings unless we give you a white partner. I do hope that this show becomes a hit for LL though !

I’ve always been a fan of LL…he was the best thing about “Deep Blue Sea” and he lived in the end!!
I’ll try and support the show, but based on the crossover “preview episode” they had with the other NCIS last week, I’m kinda worried about this show surviving. He and Chris O’Donnell didn’t have great chemistry, and their characters in general just fell kinda flat. But we’ll see what happens, I wish them luck!

LOL @37- Never was a hardcore LL fan but he has always stayed semi-relevant. I like seeing our rapper pioneers doing big things. BUT- why does he look like one of those posessed people from True Blood? His eyes are kinda buggin. Did his fitness book/DVD ever come out?
