And even still, in this day and age having a Grammy is not as prestigious as it was before. They give them out to whatever sells and if the likes of Soulja Boy who has charted high numerously is any indication, ANYthing sells in this time and age. All you need is a computer to make a beat, a catchy hook and maybe a sexed up image and you’re good to go. Talent, on the other hand, is optional.
