GUESS WHO: SPEAKING AT THE UN
Guess who spoke at the United Nations Tuesday morning (aside from Pres. Obama). Hint: He is an Oscar-nominated actor who became a father earlier this year.
It’s Djimon Hounsou! He opened the climate change session at the UN in New York with a big picture of space, noting our inability to conceive of the scale of the challenge facing “our pale blue dot”.
In related news, he and Kimora Lee Simmons welcomed their son, Kenzo, earlier this year. Djimon can next be seen in the 2010 on-screen adaptation of William Shakespeare’s romance, The Tempest.

This is interesting. Many actors are used to push the agenda of the elite because of the connection that they have with the “common man” through their movies and television appearances. This is why Clooney, Cheadle, Matt Damon etc. are projected as “advocates for Darfur” (which is actually an excuse and pretext for the white man to invade the Sudan and take the oil). All three, most definitely Clooney and Damon, are probably C.I.A. operatives. People like Leonardo DiCaprio and this man are sent out to make people believe that they should be so concerned about the environment, climate change, “going green”, etc. and what it actually is about is a tacit attempt to bring mankind back into outrightly worshiping the pagan gods of the planets, nature, and the elements through over concern with “Mother Earth/Nature” (Demeter, Ceres, Diana, etc.). When you go into the UN building, an oversized statue of Zeus is there. This man, Djimon Hounsou, may be bloodline in some way shape or form. It wouldn’t surprise me if he was related to Kofi Annan. May be an illegitimate son….
Why does he always have to play the “dumb” African role? … I wish he’d just refuse to portray the characters he is given because he is perpetuating a very flat, one dimensional image of African-ism that is so pervasive, I highly doubt anyone here will even understand, let alone agree with what I am saying.

#22 He is typecast like everybody else in Hollywood. No different from Jennifer Aniston playing the same role since Friends. The industry is still hurting so only the super elite actors; Denzel, Brad Pitt thats pretty much it, can fluctuate roles. But I cant wait until Djimon does something different I think he is an outstanding actor.

If you actually read the caption that accompanied the photos you would understand that the “hand symbol” he is using is actually him emphasizing his point about the earth being a “pale blue dot” in the vast universe.
