
Guess who spoke at the United Nations Tuesday morning (aside from Pres. Obama). Hint: He is an Oscar-nominated actor who became a father earlier this year.

It’s Djimon Hounsou! He opened the climate change session at the UN in New York with a big picture of space, noting our inability to conceive of the scale of the challenge facing “our pale blue dot”.
In related news, he and Kimora Lee Simmons welcomed their son, Kenzo, earlier this year. Djimon can next be seen in the 2010 on-screen adaptation of William Shakespeare’s romance, The Tempest.
