Guess who was spotted out in about in Copenhagen, Denmark? Hint: She was reportedly there to tape some segments for an upcoming feature.
It’s Oprah Winfrey! She taped a segment for her TV-show during her stay in Copenhagen, Denmark on Tuesday afternoon. She visited a Danish family in their home and then browsed the porcelain store Royal Copenhagen.
Oprah is also in the country to help put her bid in to bring the Olympics to Chicago in 2016. Read more here.

but that’s how a black girl’s hair looks if it’s taken care of (at least that’s been the case for me, most of the women in my family, my friends, etc.). why is everyone acting all amazed? do that many people have damaged hair? her hair is healthy- more women should actually take care of their hair- do deep treatments, put down the grease which just takes the flow out of your hair and doesn’t nourish it. it’s not hard at all

I don’t think some of the people who are commenting, and other people who have shorter hair have damaged hair necessarily – I think some people just have trouble growing their hair.
I know a lot of black females who have hair that just can’t seem to grow. I know this one girl who’s had the same length hair for two years now – I think there might be something wrong with her ’cause I didn’t know that was possible. It looks good like she takes care of it, does treatments, trims it, etc but she complains that her hair just doesn’t grow – she’s beeeeen rockin’ a short Halle Berry ‘do.

#23, thank you! All you have to do is take care of your hair. I don’t understand when people go on and on about people w/longER hair. If you take care of it, it will grow. I had long hair, and decided to chop it all off because I knew since I take care of my hair, it’ll grow back quickly, and the length doesn’t matter.

But then we attack a successful, intelligent, determined, and accomplished black woman like Oprah for not going out and having plastic surgery? What is this the twilight zone.
Let me break it down to you people and let me be as clear as the sky is blue. Oprah Winfrey don’t have to please NO MAN WALKING THIS GREEN EARTH. Oprah Winfrey has come from the absolute bottom to the pinnacle of success in this world. And she didn’t do it by conforming to what “other” people thought or expected of her. She’s always known she wasn’t the prettiest girl in the bunch, the richest girl in the bunch, and maybe not even the smartest girl in the bunch (though I disagree) but she took those facts and worked her butt off to become the symbol of black success in this world that she is.
Her face looks like lots of older black women faces. But you need to learn yourself unconditionally because you are a queen not because of your outer appearance but because of the spirit within.
