Remember recording artist Olivia? She originally was the first artist to sign with Clive Davis on J. Records and released her self-titled debut album in 2001.
She later signed with 50 Cent on G-Unit Records in 2005, where her sophomore album, Behind Closed Doors was shelved.
But she’s back, and has inked a new deal with Dollaz Unlimited/Universal Motown. “Take It Off” is Olivia’s first single, from her next album, which is set to hit stores in February of 2010.
Twist it shake it that’s crazy she’s back. How many years? Hooefully she can rise out the she’s n knock these chicks out the box

This song is ok. I wouldn’t say it’s single worthy, but it’s pretty good. It’s nice to Olivia back. I know a lot of people go hard on her, but I’m not one of them. She has talent to me and I like her music. Someone mentioned earlier and it was so true, songs like When 2 Souls Touch and Missing You proves that Olivia can sing. Olivia’s problem was picking the wrong singles and having bad management that did not know what to do with her. 50 cent said out of his own mouth he didn’t market her correctly, but even though it was his fault he was still 2 million in the whole off the money he invested in her so he had to drop her from G Unit. Hopefully this time she will hear a hit when and actually releases it. Missing You could have been a huge hit if she had made a single while she was on G Unit, it has a modern soul sound that reminds you of something Alicia Keys would sing and Olivia just let that song go to waste. 50 also said she turned down Let It Go that Missy produced and we all know that went to Keyshia. I also remember hearing a lot people say Cloud 9 should have been single. Like I said hopefully she’ll make better single decisions this go around. Good luck to her. Can’t wait to hear the new material. Oh yeah and she should be more humble, I remember she would throw shade at Keyshia and Ashanti when she was on G Unit all the time. Don’t let an ego cause you to mess up again too Olivia.
